We have just returned from a week camping at this fantastic site. This is a very friendly and welcoming site, and has a family feel to it.The showers/toilets were always clean. The outdoor swimming pools were spotless and always popular - even in the rain!.Although there is no shop at the site, there is a local shop in the village which is reasonably priced. The beaches at Overstrand are stunning, clean and very quiet.Book early for this site, as it is small it books up quickly especially over the school holidays.Perfect for quiet relaxing family holidays - a real gem!.

June 2005 What a gem of a site! situated in the village of Overstrand about 2 miles out of Cromer. The site is immaculate the shower block was ALWAYS clean! with plenty of free hot water. There are only 17 tourer pitches but are spacious and well kept, and quite even. For those who prefer sleeping under canvas the tent field was excellent close to the playgrounds and the lovely pool complex (there is a charge for using this). The site has a strict policy of no noise after 10pm we were never disturbed once! The village itself has one pub (which has a family room for meals), a couple of hotels and a cafe by the beautiful sandy beach, which is only a five to ten minute stroll form the site. All in all a must for a family holiday, but book early as I can see all the tourer pitches being taken up in no time for the summer hols!!!!
