This site is situated around 3 miles off the A38, not far from Ivybridge - be warned the roads to it are narrow! Some pitches are level in terraces, whilst others are on a gentle slope - we had a fair amount of rain whilst there and the water drained away well. On site is a lovely clean amenity block with toilets, showers, laundry and dish washing facilities. There is also a parent\baby room and some rotary dryers which were useful. There was a small children's play area, although no ball games area. Just outside the park was an excellent petrol station with spar shop - really well stocked with very friendly staff. Across the road was a pub which did food. Food is served both in the bar and in a restaurant - we ate in the bar a couple of times and the food was fine, basic bar food. Never made it to the restaurant but it looked nice. We found the guy who has the pub quite stern and a little rude - but don't let it put it you off - he was quite entertaining in his own way! The wardens were excellent and gave us tons of information when we first arrived - they were also very good at sorting out a slight "noisy neighbour" problem for us. Top tip has to be the excellent train service we discovered at Ivybridge itself. A huge free car park with trains going all the way to Penzance. We got the train the Plymouth for £2.50 each return which we found excellent value and much better than driving and paying for parking. All in all, an excellent club site which we enjoyed very much. Would certainly return.

If you want peace and quite, this is the site for you. There are a few narrow points on the country lanes leading up to the site, but if you are careful, there's no problem getting through. Put simply, this is the nicest site that I have ever been to. Even when it was full, there was a feeling of openness due to the large gaps between pitches. We were right at the top of the field, backing on to the local petrol station. There was a bit of noise from a compressor that clicked on and off 24/7, but it wasn't intrusive. A nice pitch with good views. The toilet block is the best I've ever come across. Inside, hanging proud, was framed certificates of "Loo of the year 2007". I couldn't agree more. Spotless Incredibly helpful staff - Alan is a really nice guy that will do anything to help. I will definitely be returning and I recommend you do too.

This was our 2nd visit. The lanes leading to the site are narrow but we did not have any trouble as long as you take it quiet. The site is still quiet and very clean. We have 2 dogs and found some lovely walks in the lanes surrounding the site. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The garage close by was well stocked. The pub does some lovely food and they allow dogs in the garden at the back. We enjoyed it so much we are going back again in June & hopefully in August. Ideal spot especially if you want a quiet holiday.

A great little site, it was our first outing as campers, just the place to get away from it all, a nice friendly pub outside the site also a garage that had a good stock and also a bus stop close by. The staff on site was very friendly. Toilet and showers very clean.

Approach roads narrow for caravans, but once on site all was well. Site mainly screened by trees, offering many sheltered pitches for vans and tents. Petrol station (mini supermarket) and pub 50yds up the road. Childrens playground of the mini variety but kept our 8 yr old amused. All facilities spotless as expected from a Club site. During our stay in the top field, there was an engine running most of the night from inside the confines of the petrol station (compressor maybe?) which was annoying but wholly beyond the control of the campsite. Yeah - I'd go again.

Very clean and friendly campsite. We were welcomed and given lots of information, they even helped up pitch up when it started to get dark. Quite small, toilet block with lovely hot showers, a separate washing up room, and laundry room. Rotary washing lines to dry wet clothes. Loads of local attractions. Will visit again. Top site.

A pleasant enough site, facilities clean and perfectly adequate even in the height of the summer holiday rush. BUT - a warning for anyone taking a dog there: the site has no dog walk, and apart from a tiny scruffy handkerchief of grass just outside the main entrance there isn't anywhere conveniently close off-site to exercise your dog either.
