Stayed here for the first 2 nights of a 6 night camping trip and wished we had stayed here for the rest of our trip.
A lovely little campsite. Small, personal, no large groups, ideal if you don't like to be kept awake all night.
In terms of the facilities there were ok - a portacabin single sex shower and toilet cubicle, cleaned once every morning. I rarely had to queue to use these facilities. There is an outside sink for washing up.
We considerately pitched a suitable distance from our neighbours, but felt that some newcomers maybe pitched a bit too closely! However I guess that's what you get for turn up and pitch.
Blakeney village is nearby and loads of other lovely North Norfolk villages and coastline. I would recommend it to my friends :)

This is a very good campsite if you are looking for somewhere simple and laid-back in lovely country with a very helpful owner, Sally. We stayed for 3 nights and were 2 families with 5 boys between us aged 9-12. We booked 2 days in advance (we had planned to go to the Lake District but the weather forecast put paid to that!).
It is in a flat field about a mile from Blakeney, next to the owner's bungalow. There is a separate small Caravan Club site next door. There is a portakabin with 2 toilets and 2 showers, and also a sink with cold water. The toilet block is regularly cleaned and I only had to queue once for a shower. It is 'turn up and pitch' which suits us, as we were able to pitch next door to each other in a slightly small space. There were various families with children, and the boys cycled around the campsite quite a lot and made friends and played ball games in the middle of the field. This was great for us, as we were keen for a simple site, and the boys enjoyed it very much, but there was no formal playground, and if you were adults looking for a quiet camp that might not be what you wanted. Nevertheless there was no noise after 9.30-10pm. I think there were 20+ tents so it was a little crowded, but fine - this is going to happen if you can pitch anywhere.
Bikes were extremely useful - there is some wonderful and fairly flat on- and off-road cycling, and as the traffic in the small towns on the coast can be busy in August, we were pleased to have them. Mountain bikes are available to hire from Sally's brother-in-law.
Things to do: go and see the seals by boat off Blakeney Point, fantastic coastal walks, good cycling, lovely little towns with nice pubs and restaurants. There is a brilliant little Spar shop about 1 mile from the site in Blakeney, open 7 days a week till 10pm, which sells most things you need.
I would go back to this site again.

My partner and I have just returned from a weekend at Galley Hill, we were let down by another campsite in the area at the last minute, and everywhere else was booked!
Sal was lovely when I spoke to her on the phone, and as they had space we set off there and then. We didn't arrive at the site until about 10pm, but we were welcomed anyway.
The family are very friendly and helpful with good local knowledge (how many people know where to get a self-sealing gas cylinder at 9am on a Saturday morning as we forgot ours!). Cycle hire can be arranged, although we had already sorted ours in advance.
The site itself is very clean and tidy, with a portacabin toilet / shower and an outside sink with running water. It is quite small compared to other sites, however I personally felt this was an advantage!
The site itself can be quite noisy if there are children on the campsite, which there were during our stay as it was the last weekend of the summer holidays, however if there are none it is very tranquil and relaxing. Bricks are provided for bbq's (we had two!) but camp fires are not allowed. Short walk down to the village, and the trips out to the seal colony from Blakeney / Moreston are a must . Just check the tides because if it's a spring tide you'll have to get your tickets from Blakeney and then drive/walk down to Moreston to get the boat.
All in all, we had a wonderful weekend and will definitely be returning in the future (although perhaps we won't cycle *quite* as far next time!)

Just had a lovely week here. Very small and only 1 toilet and shower per male female. Washing up facility is outside and you need to boil your kettle. Considering the few facilities this has we spent a lovely week there lady very helpful will freeze blocks for a small charge. Try to get away from the road, but to be honest there isn't to much traffic at night. Would go again

My friend and I stayed at a fairly new campsite, Galley hill farm with its v basic but clean facilities ie., 1 portashower and 2 portaloos (1disabled) and I cold water tap on nice and even grassed small field that was just off the main road into Blakeney village (10mins stroll). the owner was really friendly. The site has a 20 pitch upper limit, but owner said she preferred to keep it to 15 in re. to the limited washing/toilet facilities. It was £5 ppn which I thought was reasonable for the location where we stayed in. Next to our field was reserved for the Caravan & Camping Club members, charging at £9.50 ppn but it didnt look that different to our site, except with newly planted trees providing a little shade which I suppose would offer slightly better views to our side. In general, the rest of the campers were fairly inobtrusive and I certainly had a for a change, a decent quiet night's sleep. Now, that is very unheard of in the more busier, and larger campsites. So for those who like it quiet and basic, then this sites is most suitable for them. I certainly be returning back coz the Norfolk coast is one of the most beautiful coasts I 've seen .
