 We have stayed at Tregedna Farm for three years running and found it ideal for 2 to 3 week stays just prior to the English holiday period. Although July 2007 was something else due to the very heavy rain and the field entrance soon became a muddy quagmire. Many had trouble just to get onto the field as the days wore on. The site owner helped matters slightly by dumping stone chippings on the field entrance near the toilet block but they soon sank in the mud ! Fortunately for those having difficulty leaving the site especially with a caravan on the back soon found the farm tractor a dear friend. Considering the state of the field due to the rain, the toilet block was kept mud free and clean. The separate shower and dish / clothes washing block was kept grass and mud free too.
Shower block:- Sited adjacent to the farm house front garden and adjacent to the camp field / children’s play area / phone box. There are two male and two female showers (free) in the block along with two sinks for dish / clothes washing with free hot water. There was also an electric clothes washing facility.
The male toilet block has two toilet cubicles, one private washroom with sink then three public sinks. On the female side there was one private sink cubicle, three public sinks and if the wife remembers correctly, four toilets.
The field has a double row of plots with electric hook up stretching about 1/3rd to 1/2 the way across the field. We opted to camp without the electric facility so set up our frame tent ¾ of the way across and near the top so it sat on the level section, well no rolling out of bed problems !

Have stayed at Tregedna Farm on numerous occasions over the last few years. Huge open, slightly sloping(no problem levelling van) field that allows you freedom to pitch where ever you choose, unless you require electric hook up, these are well proportioned pitches in a row across the centre of the site close to the amenities.
Toilets and showers(free) are kept maintained and cleaned to a high standard along with the laundry room and dish washing area.
Although we don't have children the ones that were staying on the site seemed to be having a great time as there is a play area with swings and see saw etc and acres of space to run and kick balls around with out being near to people relaxing.
There is a payphone on site along with a small farm shop stocked with basics and a few treats for the children.
Freezer packs can be froze for you and a small number of gas bottles are held on site should you run out.
The beautiful safe beach of Maenporth is a ten minute walk away or a couple of minutes in the car which for a small fee you can leave on the beach car park, directly opposite the beach is a restaurant pub etc or on the beach itself is a cafe.
All in All we love it here and highly recommend it.

Looking forward to heading back here this summer, pleasant family owned site, basic facilities which are kept clean and toilet block has been improved recently, pitches are on a slant mainly so not much flat here, unless you get right down at the bottom, meaning you're going to have a long(and I mean long!) walk uphill when you get the urge!
The superb maenporth beach is just a short walk away, and it's an excellent place to chill while the sun goes down.
Another positive is the price which is very affordable.
