Just spent 4 days on this site. On arrival, the manager and his wife were very helpful in every way. First thought was that the 'vans were a bit close together, but soon changed my mind and felt like part of a little community with the seasonal pitch users.
Facilities were basic but very good. We had the misfortune on on last night to have our dog slip his lead and disappear in to the darkness; the managers and other caravanners turned out in the pouring rain to help us find our dog, which thankfully we did after about an hour and a half searching. Everyone was very supportive to my wife who was in a state, and I cannot thank everyone enough.
Definitely returning next year - with a stronger lead, of course!

Had a weeks holiday here in August. On arriving at the site my husband discovered that the pin holding the jockey wheel had snapped, so he asked the site manager if he had a tool to enable him to remove the broken pin. The manager returned as we were putting the awning up, and seeing we were busy he removed the snapped pin himself. Nothing was too much trouble, the managers - a husband and wife team - and the owner were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We decided we wanted to stay a day longer and when we enquired we were told this wasn't a problem.
Neighbouring regular caravanners were also very helpful - it was the first time we put up the awning (having changed our caravan in March this year)and we were struggling, so my hubby asked for advice and three of the regular caravanners to the site, came over without any hesitation and helped to erect the awning.
The shower block and toilets were regularly cleaned and there was no queuing.
There was a separate field for the dogs to exercise in and poo bags provided.
Newquay was 2 miles away, a lovely typical holiday resort. Lots of gift shops and a harbour wall to fish off.
If we were to visit Newquay again in the future, we would definitely stay at this site.

What a clean and tidy site this is. As others have commented it is not lit up at night so a torch is needed. The caravans are a bit to close together.
We were on the main field with the seasonal caravans. The managers were fantastic very friendly told us where to go etc. The pub at the end of the road is now closed. The garage is useful for bits and bobs.
It is in a good location to drive to other areas, Coarse fishing is close by. We would visit again as we found it clean and friendly.
We paid £20 per night including awning and hook up. £2 for extra car over all a fair charge for what we had.

We stayed for ten nights in August 2011 and I was disappointed by the wetness of this site which sits on heavy clay soil. We used the big field which is very quiet and has lovely views and the red kites sometimes hover over the field itself (a beautiful sight). However the ground squelched underfoot which spoils camping.
The toilet block was spotless throughout our stay and the site is perfectly sited for the entire Ceredigion coast.

We have just spent 4 nights at this site. There are only 2 ehu pitches for tents.
The ground was quite muddy due to a lot of rain, and we had to pitch our tent between showers. The site is basic and very relaxed. The showers and toilets are kept very clean.
There are 2 showers in the ladies, however one was out of order during our stay, but was soon fixed.
The tent site is near a main road which can be a bit noisy, but you get used to the traffic noise.
We had a pub lunch at the nearby Llanina Arms pub, which was lovely and not too expensive.
We only paid £16 per night for our family tent, (2 adults and 2 children and ehu), we would definitely go again.

Just come back and this place well deserves a recent review. It is very clean and neat, the most well kept toilet / shower area we have ever seen. Constantly being checked by staff and the most powerful, hot, free showers we have ever encountered!
We were in the small tent field, close to road and yes you can definitely hear road noise most of the time however, given price, place and cleanliness cancels this negative out.
It was surrounded by trees and well kept grass and areas.
Only wish this was closer to us, as we would seriously be there every month.

We spent four nights at Llanina Camp Site last week. As soon as we arrived we were met by the site owner Alan Mather who took us to our pitch & explained where all the facilities were.
The toilet/shower facilities were very good with free hot showers & cleaned daily! it was nice to see that toilet rolls & soap were provided in plenty which is something we never saw at the previous site we stayed at. Hot water was provided for the dish washing area as well! (so the good wife tells me).
We were pitched on the smaller field with 10 amp EHU and one other tent which left lots of space for our 9yr old twins to play. This field did seem quite wet but Alan told us that he was looking to install more drainage to cure this by next season. There was some traffic noise from the near by road but nothing that stopped us sleeping well!
The near by petrol station is within 2 mins walk and has basic essentials to tide you over & the local Spar shop further down in the village was well stocked, good value with very friendly staff. We didn't get to try the Llanina pub / restaurant but will make a point of doing so on our next trip!
In all this is a lovely well maintained site.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Llanina Caravan Park. We found the owners of the park to be very welcoming and they provided us with lots of information about the local area. (This being our first visit to the New Quay area)
The site itself is in a very good location, just off the main road, and is well sign posted and easily accessible. The actual camping areas are in the rear fields, away from any road noise and feature hardstanding pitches with local electrical hook up points. The site is a credit to the owners and they obviously spend of lot of time maintaining the gardens and grounds of the site, which are lovely.
Although this site is not the most commercialised site we have stayed on before, I can honestly say it is perfect for people who are looking for a site that is quiet, relaxed and a place to unwind, without the hustle and bustle that larger sites can bring. We always found the toilet block to be spotlessly, clean and well presented with an abundance of hot water, which is unlimited and always available.
Although there is no site shop, there is a petrol station with a shop, which is just outside the site, and we had a nice walk through the site each morning to get our paper and fresh bread. There is also a local pub which serves drinks and food next door to the garage shop and we very often had a walk in the evening to sample the local bitter.
Whilst staying at the site we visited New Quay and a lovely beach called Tresaith, which was recommended to us by the owners and was a beach you wouldn't find without the local knowledge the owners have. The beach was clean and even featured a cliff side waterfall, with rock pools to explore!
I would recommend this site to people wanting to visit a quiet and relaxed site that is well maintained and in a perfect location. We have already booked our return visit with the owners.

The site is well located for a base to visit all areas of interest within its locality. We found the site to be clean and tidy and the owners were friendly.
Good Points:-
Good accessible location Toilets kept very clean Not overloaded with do's and don'ts Owners friendly.
Not so good points:-
Only about 6 or so spaces for tourers so majority is for fee paying static / touring caravans.
The pitches are very close together which does impede on privacy. There was no grey waste facility so were advised to empty into chemical waste point which is approx 2 and a half foot from the ground and with a full waste master is practically impossible! For a well established site we found this to be very remiss and if a little infirm or have a disability then would have major problems. No security on site and in the later hours the site is practically pitch black.
Costing very reasonable but have to fore go a bit for this. With a little more thought this site has the potential of being an absolute winner.

Good points:
Friendly people and owners
Good location close to New quay and Cei Bach
Owners keep the toilet block clean
Gardens are well kept
Its cheap!
Bad points:
Showers and toilets are basic
Shower trays fill up with water when you use them
Pitches are close together with little room to park cars.
The site has many seasonal pitches with very old tourers on them.
