Mmmmm - what to say!
Sweet little site with welcoming hosts. Another good stopover. We booked for 3 nights only stayed for two as we felt the site lacked a little personality so we left to get on to the next one.
Hard site to get excited about really - new loo block very nice but really poor water pressure in sinks and showers.
No restaurant - bar is at the reception desk and drinks are limited. Small take away offering very cheap very basic food. Nuggets, chips, etc. Pizza's were tiny and of the cardboard variety!
Small pool complex, clean and really warm enough to keep little ones occupied for a day or two.
We did a trip to Vulcania which was good value at 50 euros for three of us. Interesting day out, the drive up and down the mountain in the motorhome was fun - try to stop at the view point on the way down if you want a photo opportunity.Wow!
Good place to use as a stopover for the south as big supermarkets within a couple of miles so ideal to stock up.
Would we use it again - possibly not the air raid siren (yes you did read correctly) that sounded at 4am on the second night was loud enough to have a health warning for those with a dodgy ticker! On the booking in sheet it said 'you may occasionally hear a loud alarm, ignore its just a practice' - failed to mention the 4am bit!

Well kept clean site that has a friendly reception and the facilities were very good. We stayed for 3 nights could well have stayed for longer . The site is not the largest we stayed on therefore when they have a disco in the marquee the whole site knows about it. However this was not a big problem if you stay on this site you will not be dissappointed with it or the surrounding area.

We stayed here for three nights on route to Le Lavandou, S. France. It is very close to the autoroute (1-2 miles max.)and very easy to reach without having to negotiate any built-up areas - a big plus if arriving late at night. Security barrier in operation at entrance. A quiet site even in June. Dutch owner who is always helpful and accomodating.
Pitches are large, easily accessed and private with tall hedges surrounding. All on grass. Best part of site is the upper level with more views.
Good pool and good showers/toilets with modern facilities centrally positioned. Excellent dumping station allowing drive up for toilet emptying for motorhomes and caravans. (No long carries with loo!)
Lots of interesting places to visit within 50mile radius and I can recommend the site for either a few days or overnight stay.

This site is conveniently situated just a few km from Junction 5 of the A75, just south of Clermont Ferrand. We stayed there for three nights as a break on our way down to Spain. The site is situated on the edge of a pretty village which has a small supermarket, post office and Boulangerie, who visit the site with a van each morning. Clermont Ferrand is just a few minutes away. This smallish site is Dutch owned, and most of the campers seemed to be Dutch families. The pitches (most with french style hookups) are spacious and surrounded by high (10ft) conifer hedges, affording both privacy and shade. It has two small pools and a bar . The site was quiet, tidy and well maintained, the toilet blocks were modern and clean at all times. There is a programme of family events in the evenings such as boules, pool volley ball etc, but these were not obtrusive if you did not wish to take part. There is a good dog walk along the stream which runs just outside the campsite. We would recommend it as a stopover site on the way south, but would point out that it may be worth stopping over for a few days. The Vulcania theme park is close by, and a visit to the top of the Puy de Dom itself ( via a white knuckle coach ride) is well worth the effort for the views.
