Visited Toad hall as we had a wedding in Ipswich nice well kept site toilet and shower block good although I did share the shower with the same 2 spiders and their lair the whole weekend.Over all the site was perfect for our needs there is quite a bit of road noise from the A14 so not a site to laze around in but ideal for touring Suffolk. Pub restaurant with carvery just up the road (easy stroll) drinks a bit pricey.Would use again

Lovely site, owner put us on far side as we have children so they were not to close to the road which is nice and kind of them.
Shower block really nice need wd40 on doors as they make really load noises.
Bbq area really nice.

We were visiting relatives in Ipswich and were really only looking for somewhere to camp for one night. We weren't looking for Saturday night disco entertainment and Blondie impersonators so we booked ourselves in to Toad Hall. When we arrived we were made to feel welcome and treated like a customer should be, shown to our pitch and given assurance that we were being looked after. All this for well under a tenner! What a lovely camp site, clean and tidy, and plenty of space in the paddock in which to pitch our new Montana 6! We were also impressed by the cleanliness of the toilet and shower block. There maybe only one shower each for the ladies and gents but they are excellent and free. We have two small children under 5 but they loved it. OK so there was no kids playground but they found plenty of other things to do. One would have to say though that you do get a bit of noise from the main road but don't let this put you off. It's a lovely place, lovely people, give it a whirl!

This site is noisy from A14 running along side. The toilet block may be new, shame its not quite finished. Also needed to be a bit cleaner. Shower! Well! Not the best. Washing your plates etc was a problem, you have to use the hand basins for washing plates etc. If your taking children make sure you can fill their time as this is a very child unfriendly site. The site is in a good area for easy driving to the sea, marina, long walks, and Rendlesham forest. The owners were so very helpful, especially one guy who supports Brentford. He was a mine field of information and nothing was too much for him, A very nice person. Over all the sites Ok, clean tidy, but not a good choice as my two daughters got bored very quickly.
