We liked how the campsite had individual pitches so it felt you had privacy.
Rob was very helpful and toilets and showers were very clean !
We have also put our caravan in storage there which makes it convenient for us to travel on to nearby places to go !

Lovely wide open level site with tall discrete hedges between units
Good clean shower and toilet block
Easy going friendly kind staff
Chickens to amuse kiddies and oldies alike
Easy reach of Sutton Hoo, Britains best archeological site.
BEST OF ALL: The Owner came out with a ladder and repaired our awning when it got stuck out entirely, free, saving us hours of frustration and expense. Bravo!

Needed to test new van out; so tried Toad Hall.
It is easily accessible from the A14 or A12 at roundabout heading into Ipswich.
Although the site is next to the main dual carriageway it was above and a little away from the road and noise levels were OK.
A flat grassy field with electric hookup, most were situated with a hedge both sides and fields to the other.
A toilet block with shower and wash basins, elsan empty point. Basic.
A grass field is kept for kids games away from the 'vans.
Rubish bins - but you need to sort items out as you would at home.
All-in price this year is £20 p/u p/n due to rising costs.
This would be ideal for Felixstowe Beach / Languard Fort / woodbridge and Mill/Ipswich and local villages.
Sainsbury's And B&M are about a mile further up the road, and Waitrose, Halfords and others are on the estate under the bridge opp. Sains.

We visited this campsite during COVID pandemic, and the warden gave us exclusive use of the gents toilet/shower room because we booked for more than a week. Perfect!
The washrooms are normally shut during the pandemic, but the coded entry system allows them to allocate units on an exclusive basis for people who book long stays.
The chickens were a delight. The location is great for Felixstowe, and it's worth checking out Nacton Picnic Spot, for a lovely riverside walk, close to camp.
Cost us £18 a night in August, which seems pretty reasonable. We've been before and will return again.

Nice campsite, friendly warden. It’s well kept, with a small toilet block containing two toilets in the ladies and one urinal/one toilet in the gents.
There is one shower in the ladies and one in the gents. In 10 days, I only had to queue once, because the site really isn’t very busy.
There is quite a lot of road noise, but you get used to it. Prices for caravans are £18 a night with electric hook up, year round (a premium is charged for bank holidays).
Big pitches, nice open area. Good views across the lawn.

Stayed for short getaway, friendly welcoming at entrance, wardens phone number at gate offered choice of pitches, 15 pitches divided by laurel hedges which have generous spaces.
Toilet block adequate, ideally placed for days out in Suffolk, slight road noise nothing we could not live with. Will stay again.

Stayed for a weekend at a cost of £36 thought this was good value was given a warm friendly welcome and given a choice of pitch which are a very good size with hedges either side to give good privacy as well. Pitches are flat and ground was well kept, a couple of taps for water and just a basic elsan point, showers are again basic with just one in each washroom but always hot if sometimes to hot!. Good location for visiting Ipswich, Felixstowe, wood bridge, aldeburgh, also departure times are not until 2pm so another plus there can see no reason for a return visit.

We booked in here as it is 2 minutes away from DINAS, Trinity Park, as it gave us the option for 2 days at the show for £10 camping, no brainer!
It is a nice, clean site, good toilets & showers, some pitches with hook-up, and safe walks out across the fields with the dogs.
It is close to the A14, so in a tent you would need to be aware of this for night time, but in a caravan or camper you should be fine :-)
