 Stayed on this site last summer, grass area for pitching tent was top class, lovely site, nice and peaceful. The site even has a kids room with a pool table, books and a few other games. The older person will remember the old outdoor toilet we had years ago, but as mentioned no sink, so we just took a pack of wet wipes with us.
The owner was very helpful,local shops in village nearby, also close to cycle route. Hope to see you there this summer.

As a camper I found this site to be very basic facility wise. It has 1 toilet and no wash-hand basin so hence could not wash my hands after going to the toilet or clean my teeth in the morning.
The very friendly lady at the site did explain that they were building washing / shower facilities at Christmas and I feel once that is done it will be a site enjoyed by many as their situation is beautiful, the pitches are excellent (flat and not too hard plus spacious) and they are currently extremely reasonable (charges wise) i.e. £8.50 per night for a very large 4 man tent (Diablo 400xp), 3 adults, a car and electric hookup.
I would certainly recommend this site to anyone but if you are in a tent, I recommend you wait until the toilet / shower block is built next year.
Ooh forgot, its very close to York and to a very large Tesco and the Designer Outlet (argh! spent far too much money!)lol.
