We stopped here for two nights for a pit stop before travelling up further to Clachtoll. The pitch prices were very cheap and was all in with electric hook up, and the dog.
The site is a small site next to a busy road. There is a garage next door for fuel and shop for provisions if needed. And a good location for exploring round Sterling etc.
On site it has just the toilets which had one shower but they were hot, but could be updated and cleaned a bit more. No pot washing facilities. Owner seemed friendly bit only spoke when we arrived they seem to busy doing other things around there property.
The grass was fairly long and could off done with a good cut. But overall a cheep site for a pit stop.

Very pleasant 3 nights at this site, welcoming owners and friendly atmosphere. Value for money was exceptional. Basic facilities, shower and toilet block, water, electric hook ups for all pitches, water and chemical waste provision as well as bins.
Site is well situated for access to Stirling, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Falkirk Wheel and other local attractions. The road next to the site is busy so do expect some noise from cars however our 3 year old was not disturbed at all by them.
There is a garage next to the site for basic essentials such as emergency icecreams, milk etc.

We were on this site a few years ago and were made to feel welcome so went back this year.
It's a cheap and basic site with good tarred level pitches, good shop, garage and fuel pumps offsite but just around the corner, it's well set out with clean grounds, close to Blair Drumond safari park and close enough to beautiful countryside.
Nothing for the kids but safe bike riding if they have one with them.
The owner is indeed a very nice helpful person.
On the down side was the gents toilet block and single shower which can only be described as filthy, if they were better it would be a very good site indeed.

We stayed at Ashmill in May, this site is a very small affair, with around 14 hard standing, situated beside a busy main road, the site is functional, as with the toilet block, all the bits are there, buts lets say they are a bit tired.
The site is situated next to a Shell Garage with a well stocked shop, and a short walk,(around 1/2 mile) from Doune, which is a small friendly place, with shops and a few pubs.
The bus service is good in both directions ether if you are going to Stirling, or Callander.
