Spent 6 nights at this small excellent value site.
The site consists of a single field, slightly sloping from the centre outwards, with washing/laundry/toilet facilities in one corner. We had little company so plenty of room, but other sites might shoehorn twice the number of pitches in. All pitches are at the edge of the field leaving the middle for games or just a sense of spaciousness.
Cornwall suffered some of the worst rainfall in memory while we were there - at one point we drove through flooded 'A' roads with drain covers being forced up due to being overwhelmed by rain so heavy our car wipers could hardly cope.
I mention this to highlight the site's brilliant drainage - at no point did the field show the slightest sign of muddiness. We would have sunk in many other places.
The other great advantage of this small site is the views. From our tent door we could see across to Falmouth with hills behind or turn our heads to lovely sea views. These views mean the site can receive the odd breeze or bluster, but nothing our tent couldn't handle with ease.
Praise has been given to the site's facilities, but although kept clean they are very basic. They consist of three small portacabins in one corner of the site. This however must be balsnced by the keen price - we paid only £15pn for a large tent & EHU.
The first houses separate men's and ladies' toilets; the mens is very snug indeed - trying to get past a fellow camper using the urinals can be embarassing. The sinks have mirrors and handwash but no hot water.
The second houses a large shower costing 50p a go, very basic but copious hot water and plenty of room to move & keep clothes dry.
The third contains a second shower room (same price), a further lavatory and a laundry/washing-up room with a single basin, a washing machine (£4 for 2 hours), a tumble dryer (£1 for 30 mins) and two fridge freezers (for tents without electricity).
Sid the owner and local farmer couldn't be more helpful and cheerful, and is generally around if needed.
Literally seven minutes saunter brings one to the lovely and friendly village of St Keverne. It sports a general dealer (open 'til 8pm), brilliant butcher, post office, a small restaurant and two pubs - the Three Tuns and the White Hart.
By a wide margin we preferred the White Hart - the 3 Tuns actually had 3 pumps showing 3 different real ales but with no beer in any of them . I'm sorry but I didn't travel 350 miles to drink John Smith's bloomin' Smoothpour! The White Hart on the other hand had a selection of locally brewed ales as well as serving excellent bar meals every night. Local regulars give this traditional pub a welcoming feeling, as do weekly events such as Bingo & Quiz nights.
The site is well-placed for exploring West Cornwall - Lands End and the Eden Project are both within an hour's drive with Falmouth, Penzance & St Ives considerably closer. One can also explore the coastline without even using the car.
To sum up we loved the site and would certainly return if journeying to this part of the country. The proximity of the lovely St Keverne & the White Hart pub ices the cake.
Last word - many people we talked to returned to the site year after year - sometimes several times a year. Says it all!

Sid the owner bends over backwards to help you if necessary, and has always got something to chat about. Nice and quiet, all facilities up to standard and kept clean - showers a bit steep at 50p a go though.
Although the views are fantastic across the bay towards Falmouth, it comes at a price - if the wind's up, it can be challenging to pitch tents.
Local facilities couldn't be better - try the steak from the local butcher!
Would have no problem recommending this site (as long as you don't tell anyone else about it!)

We arrived early morning, very easy to find site and first impressions were very good. Two big fields, the top field is the one to go on really as the second field ( bottom field) is on a slope.
There isn't a shop on site but the local village shop is open early morning until 8pm every day, and is only 10 min walk away, so is the local pubs as well. So at night a nice walk to pub and back is very enjoyable.
The beach is a short walk away as well, we didn't go there so cant say what its like.
We used it as our base for travelling around the lizard, and it found it is very well placed for touring around.
Stunning views from the campsite as its on top of a small hill,we could see the sea on three sides, and the village on the the other side. It was perfect when we were there.
The pitches are level and there is electric hook up available. I stopped in a tent with no hook up and was charged 11 pound a night.
Night times were very quiet and peaceful.
Syd the owner is an excellent guy. Very friendly and very approachable. I would recommend this camp site to anyone.
The only gripe I have is that the showers, which there are only 2 of, cost 50p for 6 mins, which really isnt Syds fault as they were free last year, until a camper let there kids spend all day playing in the showers running up big bills for syd. So a big thanks to that family.
I will be going back here soon.
If you want a site that's quiet, no pub/club no screaming kids running everywhere , then this will be ideal.

Little Treginges is by far my favourite campsite to date. It is in a superb location, only a quarter of a mile from St Keverne, a quaint Cornish village which has many local amenities, the most important being two pubs! The campsite is also close to the coastal path, Helford, Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station, Lizard Point and its lighthouse and Gweek (Seal Sanctuary).
The camping field has glorious views out to sea and is also quite flat. The toilets and showers were always clean and the site owner Sid is extremely helpful and friendly, (don’t miss his fish and chips on a Friday night as you enter the village on the left!). Another major advantage of this site over others is that there is a fridge and freezer, iron and ironing board and numerous books which you are able to borrow. There’s also coin operated laundry facilities.
The campsite is perfect if you’re after a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of town life. Don’t forget to stock up with cash as it’s not readily available in the village. You’ll also need a stash of 50p’s so that you can take full advantage of the clean showering facilities.

We were fortunate to find this site, and have spent many weekends and holidays. The views are breathtaking the site is well run and the facilities are very clean. It is a family run site where every one is made welcome. There is always a yarn to be told by Sidney the owner and his Fish and Chips on a Friday night are the best we have tasted!
Local amenities are also good shops selling local produce, newspapers and a good pub these are only a five minute walk from the site!
We cant wait for our next visit!

Although early in the year the site is classed as open 12 months.
On arrival we were one of two caravans onsite with one other which was a seasonal/storage pitch.
We were informed by the couple in other van that only the ladies section of porta loo was working as owner was carrying out repairs to the 'gents'
The porta-cabin toilet block was ramshackle and dirty. Toilet leaked around floor when flushed and shower porta cabin was no better in appearance and cleanliness, did not use over weekend.
Two pubs in village so decided to try on Saturday night, first one which is pub/hotel was empty of anyone one dining with a handful of locals drinking waiting for Saturday night disco to start at 9:00pm. Ordered drink but no food. Other pub looked worse so did not try it at all

A fantastic friendly site, with stunning views across to Falmouth bay, great to wake up to and drink your early morning cup of tea looking at them. Very close to village of St Keverne and local beaches. Plenty of good walks around the coastline and easy to access without using your car. Good facilities, would highly recommend this site and will be returning very soon.

This is an amazing site, the first thing that hits you are the views. Absolutely breath taking! The site is quiet and cosy and the toilet block was always clean. The shower room was especially bright and water was always hot.
Sid, the owner, was an absolute gent. He gave us some good tips on walks around the local area and was always helpful.
There are shops and two pubs within a short walk, the village is also a lovely place.
The nicest camp site we've stayed on and we can't wait to return!

We've just returned from this campsite and were very pleased all round, ie flat and fairly sheltered, clean with more than adequate facilities and the friendliness of Sid the site owner - we had some great fun with all the banter! It's a nice quiet and small site, very cosy
It's so near the village at quarter of a mile with shops and pubs, and there are lots of local walks - Sid providing the valuable information.
As we're both divers, there is an excellent beach at Prothoustock again at half a mile away, and afterwards we can get our air at Dive Action in the village. It's all on our doorstep.
So needless to say, we'll definitely be back!

Excellent holiday site. Plenty to visit in the area. Beautiful views of Falmouth Bay and The Manacles! The site has all the facilities that are required and they are very clean. Easy walk to two pubs and village shops. We will definitely be returning to this site!
