I have to echo everything the previous reviewer says. Alan Rogers guides describes this as one of the best run sites you will find and they are not wrong. The family who run the site are very welcoming and you see them around the site keeping an eye on things at all times and they cant be too helpful. Pitches are neat and shaded and toilets, showers spotless. There is an older block which is segregated and a newer block of unisex enclosed cabins.
Small bar, snack area and a nice pool, plus a reasonably stocked and not overexpensive shop.
When we stayed the site was mostly full of Dutch with a smattering of English. Its not a site for those who want big and brash but is great if you want to relax but with some facilities. The great thing is that it is a 5 minute walk from the supermarket and only 10 minutes into the wonderful town of St Remie with great resaurants, bars and shops. A visit to the hospital where Van Gogh did many of his famous paintings is a must and the Roman Ruins just South of the town are pretty spectacular.
I would definitely stay here again.

Our family of two adults and three children (1 aged nine and twins of 5) stayed here for three weeks during August. We had never been to this site before, but took a risk and booked it over the net in cold January 2007. Over the next couple of months we had a couple of queries which were answered promptly by email. When we arrived at the site the family who run it welcomed us very well. We were shown to our pitch which I add was a very good size. All new arrivals get this welcome. The owner informed us the best way to place our caravan and helped us place it in the best situation. The site is lovely with lots of plantings, flowers etc, and is continually being maintained. At least four gardeners/maintenance persons. The level pitches are cleaned as soon as one becomes vacant, all the leaves are swept up and the whole site is spotless. The owners will go out of their way to help. The facilities are fine with a swimming pool and life guard, terrace bar with takeaway, petange, play area etc. I really felt the children were safe. The site is locked at night which large gates but you have a key for a small returnable deposit. The toilets are excellent and cleaned really well on a regular basis daily, and plenty of them. The whole area, town is a lovely part of France and we will be definitely be returning. Book early as it does get full especially when the local festival (great fun) is on which lasts for 10 days. Could go on but not enough space!
