Showers/toilet block quite clean, brochure doesn't mention that you need 20p coins for the showers. Pitches hard standing and gravel - great for the bad weather, but very close together. Very little space around the pitch - had to park car in car park .

Touring area on the whole scruffy - grass too long and weeds everywhere. Saw no staff in the touring area to check pitches (some people left debris on their pitches on departure). Had to pay £10 deposit for a key to operate barrier which was not in operation during our entire stay.

Washing up area under cover though not completely enclosed and dark at night (light ineffective). Pool much smaller than it looks in brochure. Private shower facilities but changing facilities not good (communal) with no lockers. Had to use a box for clothes and take it to poolside. Not ideal in wet weather.

Didn't go to clubhouse as we couldn't get a seat there. TV reception very poor - the lady in office said that you needed a satellite dish. A good location - handy for beaches - but won't return.

This is my fourth year coming to the Caravan park and I love it more and more each time I come. When we first came down we only booked for one week, we are now booking for longer periods of time. The park is friendly, safe and there is lot's of entertainment for the nights. Since coming to the park I have met load's of new people.

Everyone who work's at the park are very friendly, polite, helpful and welcoming and great to talk to. In the day there is plenty to do as well, with the beach and Tenby neary by as well as the use of the swimming pool and club house during the day, as well as the park and adventure playground for the children.

This one place I come to for a holiday every year and it is relaxing, entertaining and just a fun place to be. This is a Caravan park I would recommend to everyone who is looking for a great holiday.

We only stayed at Manorbier Country Park for 3 nights but we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The site and facilities such as the pool, club house and the toilet/shower block were kept spotless and the site in general was extremely well kept. We let our 6 year old daughter go off to the on site play area which was only about 100 meters from the caravan but we didn't have any worries at all as the site seemed very safe for children. All in all a very pleasant place to stay.

Oh dear, we we were disappointed with this site for several reasons.

Upon arrival we were met with cramped regimented rows of caravans and were given our pitch at the end of a row of permanent caravans which were all empty. No neighbours to talk to. We could barely open the car door without it banging into the empty van next door.

Within minutes I had trodden in dog mess that was on our pitch, I went to reception to complain immediately after seeing 2 dogs run around unattended and untethered - dogs are not allowed on site apparently unless the people own a caravan, however this rule obviously is failing as we saw loose dogs on numerous occasions.

When we complained the staff apologised and said they would have a word with the owner; but we saw noone do this, and we were left to clean up the mess as well as remove a large amount of litter on the pitch.

Even on our last day I saw a dog that was running loose mess next to us without an owner in sight. During our 2 week stay we saw noone collect litter, clear up vacated pitches or cut the grass which meant the place looked untidy.

After paying £400 for the privilege of staying there we were very surprised to be charged 20p per shower. I hate this especially when you have paid a significant amount already. Luckily the showers in the swimming pool were free, although they were not hot and always busy.

Our two children had brought their bikes with them to tour the site, only to read in the extensive rules that they could not ride on the grass which meant running the gauntlet through the car park next to the touring area in order to get to the play area. My 7 year old was even told off by an adult when she rode on the grass as we didn't want her riding through the car park. The play area was a wooden castle construction, there was no other area for the children to play or go exploring and we felt very sorry for the people in tents who had to pitch in front of the castle construction whilst the kids were trying to have a game of football in the cramped conditions without success.

On a lighter note however, the site was not the reason for our holiday, the area was beautiful with stunning beaches, many NT places of interest and we had an exciting sea safari on a speedboat.

We enjoyed our days out but the site, due to its lack of visible maintenance in the touring area and the frustrating lack of respect from dog owners, was a massive let down. We will not be going to this site again.

We have just returned from a short break at Manorbier Country Park and I felt I needed to write a review we (my husband my two boys 4yrs and 6yrs and myself) had the best 3 days ever!

The site was perfect not too big great facilities 2 parks tennis courts fantastic club & compare the kids loved JC and Gerry The Bear:! all the staff were helpful& friendly and nothing was too much trouble

The swimming pool was ideal the late opening hours ensured it was never busy and the changing facilities were small but we just used out towels and went back to our caravan to change

The whole site is in walking distance of both a train station and a bus stop. It has a small shop that sells most things reasonably priced we got the bus into tenby where we visited the golden beach!

It was the first time we let our 6yr old go top the adventure playground by himself which was 100 meters from our caravan (and in eye shot) but the sight was so safe and friendly we would never of worried.

There was a games room around the other side of the club house which mainly had 2p machines in which the children thought was great they did cash bingo most evenings in the club and great entertainment for the kids!

The only comment I would make was that the shop shut at 5pm which was a bit earlier for the time of year and a couple of times we had to drive to grab some essentials ! We will be returning lets hope they keep up the good work.

We have just got back from a fantastic 2 week break at Manorbier Country park! This is a lovely site, great facilities, spotlessly clean. The campsite staff were really friendly and helpful, our 2 kids (4 and 7) were especially taken with the club compare, 'JC'.

It is a very safe campsite for the children. For the first time our daughter was allowed to cycle by herself to the playarea, which was only 100 yards or so from the caravan, but was a million miles away to her! Both kids loved the pool, my husband loved the gym and launderette!

The club was a great bonus - we got a seat easily each night and the campers and regulars mixed in well - no one ignored us, (as per an earlier review). Cash bingo was a laugh!

Pitches all very good, only some had ariel hook up, our tv picture was dodgy, but we managed well enough if we squinted.

The area is beautiful, we all cycled to the beach. Good local shops 2 mins away. Small campsite shop for emergencies and papers.

We loved this holiday - such a friendly place!

This is a very nice site, the owners took it over in September last year, it is a family orientated site and provides lots of entertainment for children during the evenings, bingo is also played for the grown ups but children can play as long as they don't collect any winnings.
We pitched backing onto the static vans and had plenty of room but other pitches across the car parking area seemed to be a bit cramped. There was some hard standing pitches but we did not have one, TV reception was poor but I got a decent one through my digibox but could not receive all the channels, our friends where not so lucky and had a poor reception sadly the booster points are only on the pitches on the other side of the car park, I was told that they are hoping to upgrade all the pitches next year so all receive a good reception.
The facilities where very good clean, tidy and cleaned every day, it's just a pity that people who use them don't try harder to leave as they find. There was a swimming pool on site open during certain hours, also a gym and laundry apart from the laundry we did not use them but they looked well kept and used well by other campers. The area is lovely, Tenby and Saundersfoot are nice places. The coast line is Mostly National Trust and there are some lovely views and walks.
I would certainly go back again and would book on the site again. With a bit of luck the weather will be kinder.

I must say I was a Very disappointed with this park.

Very “clicky” lots of season / owners with their own seats in the club house!

If your there for a weekend you don’t exist

Bad points, - Touring pitches quite close together, and drainage not the best.

Why have a park that holds hundreds and a club house that holds half of that, nothing worse than getting dressed up, walking the kids up and not being able to get in!

Again, a park of this size with a nice pool, but only 6 changing cubicles! And no lockers, so all your stuff is pool side and wet!

No supervision at the pool, so older kids going mental! People walking all sorts of crud poolside not removing their shoes as instructed by signs. No life guards!

Reception couldn’t even muster a ‘Goodbye’ and ‘Thank you’ on departure!

Good points, - Touring facilities not bad, Toilets clean, plenty of fresh water taps.

Handy TV points, Thank god because there was no TV reception there

Tenby is only 5 – 6 miles away!

All in all very disappointed, Grumpy unpleasant people. Nice club / pool complex but FAR FAR too small.

Definitely wouldn’t rush back there, but if you don’t try you’ll never know!

We had a lovely stay in this holiday park, even though the weather was not the best.

Some of the caravan pitches and awning spaces were cement and others were gravel. The gravel was better for drainage and it was 'difficult' to get the pegs into the cement.

After parking the caravan, cars were not permitted beside the van, but parked on the tarmac wide roadway. This was not a problem, especially as the weather and ground was so wet last year. There was plenty of spaces for cars.

TV ariel cable could be hired for a small deposit, I think it was £10, and which was refunded on return.

There was plenty or water taps, and covered bins.

The amenity block, although not the most modern, was clean and tidy and serviced several times a day. The showers had plenty of hot water, but I can't remember if they were coin operated. The wash-up area had lots of very hot water.(no charge).

There was a large area for tents of all sizes. I think they said that they only had about 5 sites that used for tourers who were there short term, the majority of pitches were used for tourers who booked for the whole season!

There was a lovely heated indoor swimming pool with a large decked patio area. I'm sure it would have been lovely in sunny weather. The children's adventure playground was new and proved a success with my 6 and 8 year old kids.

My husband went to the well equiped gym, there was a small fee for it's use, as there was for the sauna. The laundry was open at certain times.

The clubhouse was open daily, and there was a variety of entertainment. Prices were average. There also was a small restaurant housed within this complex from which carry out food could be ordered. The park was very organised and very well managed. Yes there were doormen at night, but friendly and helpful. Children were made welcome in the clubhouse, and there was a games room which had snooker tables and slot machines etc.

I was talking to the owner one day, and he told me that he had sold the buisness, another local man. So I hope it will still be as good.

There is a small supermarket in Manorbier itself, but you would need a car to get to it. Tenby is about 5 miles away, and all the other tourist attractions are in the area.

We would definitely go back and stay here!
