Fantastic little site, convenient location, lovely cows and people too.
We will be back.
Lots of walks near by that we still have to discover.
Love Pip too

This place is brilliant! We booked last minute and with friends got the last 2 spots for bank holiday. The site is flat and has good space to set up camp with views overlooking fields and the cows and gorgeous sunsets!
The owners Rosie and Chris are so helpful and very relaxed and make amazing cakes. Our dog was able to run free within reason (we just tied her up when the bull was around!) and the kids could ride their bikes, play on swings and generally run around in safety.
There is only one toilet and shower which was fine once you got used to it but the owners have plans to increase the numbers of facilities. I would definitely come back.
It was so relaxing, I have loved it!

Fantastic site, great location for exploring and the hospitality of the owners was second to none.
Very helpful on arrival and found an engineers number to help us fix our electrics.
Great for kids, lots of area to run around and then there's the cattle who are all around.
Such a great site and friendly place, already booked another visit this s year.

What a lovely site to stay on; surrounded by beautiful countryside on a traditional working farm. Rosie was welcoming and friendly.
Typical farmer's wife; she never stopped! Basic facilities but all that you need.
Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

Brilliant little site just off the A50 but feels like you are miles away.
Was a last minute escape and Rosie so helpful from first email to the welcome on site.
Pitches large overlooking the fields of cows.
Toilet and shower room attached to the farmhouse. Basic but clean and functional.
Farm dog Pip very friendly and pops around for a fuss!
What more could you need for a relaxing weekend away? Close to Sudbury hall, Uttoxeter, Ashbourne and Lichfield short drive away.
Pitch with electric hook up a bargain at £12 per night with an awning!
Will definitely be adding this site to our local getaway list and hopefully return soon.

Basic campsite but this was made up for by the great location and the brilliant staff.

We visited this delightful site early April 2019 and stayed for a week. We came off the A50 and within a few minutes we were there.
The site is small but beautifully maintained and we were welcomed by the owner and his border collie. The site is peaceful and quiet and within easy reach of Ashbourne and surrounding area, including the National Trust Sudbury House (well worth a visit).
We could not find fault with the welcome we received, the friendliness shown during our stay and the site itself.
Well worth a visit. Bob and Maureen.

We arrived by tandem to be greeted by Pip the border collie who is an expert in making new arrivals feel welcome. No barking, just a keenness to make friends and encourage ball games. The owners are pretty friendly too!
Our tent went on grass with an open view into a field. The toilet and shower are basic but clean with lots of room. We were allowed the use of a sink for clothes and pot washing and the use of the owners washing line to hand the clothes out on.
The only minor issue was some traffic noise from the A50, but as this is fairly continuous you filter it out.
Lovely location with a good pub 2 miles away in Church Broughton.

Lovely little site with extremely helpful owners, working farm offering lovely level serviced pitches
Wouldn't hesitate to re visit during the coming year.
Ideally located close to A50 but far enough away to cause no noise pollution
