A lovely site which I would certainly return to. Very friendly welcome and helpful family. This is a small site with lovely views across open fields, we enjoyed watching the cows, calves and hens.
Very child friendly. A clean and tidy working farm without too many strict rules, we were allowed to choose our place on the site. One toilet and shower, basic but clean, and electric hook up available.
The grass is well maintained and the site flat, would be good for tents. Very reasonably priced and flexible with the number of nights stayed, times of arrival etc. They also offer caravan storage.
Overall a very pleasant stay, down a very quiet lane but good access to Sudbury hall, Alton Towers, Ashbourne and the Peak District.

Great little site with friendly and helpful owners, the site is on a working farm in the middle of the countryside.
The field is well kept and resembles a bowling green. The other people staying on the field were nice and friendly.
The toilet and shower are basic but clean.
Overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend it our friends and will be returning in the future.

Arrived on the Thursday before Easter having booked at the last minute because we had to visit a relative in the hospital in Nottingham.
The owners had kept a pitch for us by the road so it was easy to drive in and out every day. It was a very quiet peaceful place and was just what we needed before and after stressful visits to the hospital. I have never seen such a clean and tidy farm.
If we have to go and visit again we will have no hesitation in returning. I have put 10/10 for child friendliness because although we had no children with us we witnessed two littlies being allowed to search for eggs and then being allowed to take one back to their unit. It was delightful to watch.

What a great little gem, we called on the off chance to see if the was space and they did, we were surprised with it being a bank holiday but all the same we weren't disappointed.
Its a fairly basic site with 1 toilet and 1 shower, a few electric hook up and plenty of ground to walk on, farmer will even show you around his yard, which was interesting.
It's that good we'll be going back again at some point.
Not a great amount of road noise either for saying your a stone throw from the A50 and very pleasant people that run the site, what more can you ask for.

What a gem of a site. Facilities were basic but adequate. We were a little worried as they had vacancies two weeks before the bank holiday and only charged £10 per night. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived.
The owners were there to greet us and even helped us site the van. View from the van was across open field and was great to wake up to each morning. Cows wondered across but were not noisy at all.
You are miles from anywhere and so the location is very peaceful. Plenty of walks along the country lanes.
Owner even fetched us a paper from the shop in the next village each morning.
We will definitely visit again.

The campsite is situated on the front drive (fit for c5 tents) of a farmhouse situated just off the A50 and not near a pub or any local amenities (5miles to Utoxeter).
It was very windy when we visited as its situated on open plains, this made pitching our tent very difficult - don't attempt it in the nice looking green patch as you approach the site, go for the patch behind the hedge or outside the storage barn.
This site is fairly basic with just one shower and basin attached to the main farm house.
The view from the campsite is the farmers cow field, so you can hear moo'ing of cows and a farm dog.
Its a quiet site with access to some open courtyside, so if your a keen walker and have pets its a great site to go to as there are very few rules.
