Great site, toilets and showers spotless, pitches each had water tap next to caravan. Owners very friendly and helpful. Park kept tidy at all times. Owner helped turn our caravan around so we had a better view of mountains and sea. My husband was suffering with a bad back at time but the owner set us up, he puts men half his age to shame the amount of work he does to keep this site clean and tidy at all times. Shops and pubs near by. Also only about 5 to 10 mins to barmouth by car. Only down side was weather but its been bad every where. This wont put us off were goiing back to this lovely site this weekend but will remember our wellies just in case!

Loved the location of Parc Isaf, the views out over the Bay are a joy, and there are nice walks through the woods really close by. The farm is far enough away from town to be able to feel you're out in the country, but close enough to be near to what's going on, and there are a couple of nice pubs and a well stocked mini market within 5 minutes drive. The site and the facilities were kept very clean.
On the down side there were problems with the electricity supply, which was constantly cutting out to one of the rows of hook up points, affecting about five or six units. Also the site advertises having family / disabled facilities which we were keen to make use of, having two children, one of whom is disabled, but throughout the whole of our stay the room was kept locked, which did make things considerably more difficult for us and our son, having to use the little shower cubicles, loos etc.
We didn't see the site owners the whole time we were there, other than when we went to find them to pay, and they were actually quite hard to contact in the first place, emails we sent went unanswered, and we had to ring a few times before we got hold of anyone.

Just spent the Bank Holiday weekend at this cracking little site. We were in field 3 on one of the ehu pitches, so had a fairly level pitch, though the rest of the field has a bit of a slope. Ample room was given us to avoid a muddy area, but given the summer we've had it's not surprising to have a less than perfect pitch by the end of the season. Nice to find a site that doesn't have a 'cram them in' policy, the middle of the field was left clear.
The toilet block is excellent, one of the best of any site we've stayed at, clean and tidy and free hot showers too. The only caveat is not being able to turn the lights on in dull weather, as there is not much natural light in either the loos or the potwash area and the sinks are at the far end of the room so it was quite dark (there are lights in the showers though). They seem to be on a timer to save energy.
Gorgeous views out to sea, handy for Barmouth and Harlech while well away from crowds and bustle, we will definitely be back.

A very nice clean peaceful site.
Although we arrived around 10 p. M. We were warmly greeted and the owner hooked up Land Rover to site caravan and save our clutch on sloping pitch, wound down legs and jockey wheel! Site well maintained and like a bowling green.
Excellent toilets and showers very clean, best I've seen in my years of touring and free to use.
Barmouth great for crabbing and Harlech Castle both close by. Beaches were close and views of the coast from our pitch were outstanding.
Enjoyed our week here despite the weather. Cost £16/night with awning and hook up; very reasonable.
Site owners very helpful when we had problems with our Roof Light providing a temporary recycling bin lid, duct tape and ladders to keep wind and rain out. Thank-you for all your help.

What a nice clean peaceful site, drive in and you see six foot carved owl,
parked up and was given a warm welcome from site owner and showed us up to a lovely flat pitch with hook up, was like a bowling green.
Toilets and showers very clean,
nice and handy for barmouth, harlech and shell island. Beaches were close and views on the coast road are astounding. Wasn't too keen on pub next door though.
There is a small park on site for children.
Enjoyed our long weekend here. Also they have a room with washing machines, useful when you have small kids, will be visiting their again soon

In terms of facilities, this is the Savoy Hotel of campsites. The newly built shower block was immaculate - you really could eat your dinner off the floor!
Showers were hot, but the controls take some getting used to. Kitchen was clean and tidy, and the toilets were very respectable. The owners deserve to be proud of their site.
I will not be giving this site a gold award - only a platinum award would suffice! The down side? It's about a 2 mile downhill walk, and a busy road to cross, and of course a 2 mile return walk uphill.
The views are great, and the sheep in the next door field keep you company!

We found this lovely place through this website. We've been to other sites in this area which were good but not a patch on Parc Isaf. Clean, tidy, well equipped and excellent value for money.
The owners were so nice, you just felt at home there. Our 12 year old son made friends really easily and although there isn't a playpark on site they really didn't need one.
The area is lovely and the views from the site are superb, sea-views one way and fields and forest the other. What more do you need? We are definitely going back there. Cant wait.

I visit this fantastic site several times a year.
Access is very easy off a main road. When you arrive the owners are extremely helpful and friendly and although some pitches are not level they will pitch and level your caravan for you, help with awning etc should you need it.
There is not much on the site, but there is a shop, pub, restaurant, and takeaway within walking distance.
The shower block is always kept spotless and is warm and showers are free. It is a small working farm with stunning views and the site is kept neat and tidy. £18 a night for electric hook up for a family of four.
My kids absolutely love it here and there some lovely walks through the woods.
Nearby there is a club and arcade in tal y bont, and a nice beach, petrol station, post office and convenience store in Dyffryn.

We've just come back from this site, we stayed for 3 nights but wish we'd stayed longer, but the weather did help. We pitched at the top so we could have sea views. Nearby beaches are superb, harlech probably the best but its quite a hike from the car to the beach so travel light. If its a bbq on the beach the say a 5er and go to shell island, we did a 'beach crawl' moving from the rock pools in the morning to the harbour for a picnic lunch then to the south beach for the sun set and the most amazing sand dunes. The chippy down the road was ok, the fish was nice but frozen, not freshly battered. This site was lovely. Clean and ideally situated for everything, the beaches are ideal for relaxing, the sea ideal for watersports and the surrounding countryside ideal for walkers. At the night the sky is ideal for stargazers. Dogs are welcome- and free but have to stay on a lead so the dog that came with us had to wait til we went to the beach before she could have a run around. Would I return here? Definitely, and I'll be staying for longer.

We had a great time at this perfect little campsite. It had everything we needed plus great views, extremely helpful owners and excellent value for your money. If you only require the basics give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
Cracking beaches near by, with white sand, sand dunes, rock pools and shells galore at shell island (£5 per car for the day).
Harlick castle at £10.40 for a family ticket was well worth the money(NO DOGS). Great views from the castle of the surrounding area.
Parking can be a problem, so park in the second carpark at the top of the hill(its next to a park with a little stream and benches for picnics, very pretty).
Barmouth is well worth a look, great shops and a lovely beach. Catch a train and take a trip a long the coast. There is a Co-op with free parking for 2 hours.
