 Griffithston Farm is a very basic campsite with very little facilities. The site is approached by a very narrow lane half mile long [could be dodgy if two caravans met half way].
The campsite is just a square field with a toilet block in the centre. Most of the field is taken up my seasonal vans with tenters down in the bottom end and a few spaces in the centre for motorhomes. The toilet block is far from the 'new facilities' that are advertised in the C & CC sitesbook. The showers are hot and free but the toilet block is very basic with a couple of cuphooks behind the shower doors, no shelves inside the cubicles which have had the tiles removed and the walls whitewashed ! so your clothes tend to get splashed . Three handbasins are located near the door.
The refuse area is just a handful of bins dumped under a tree which the farmer empty's into his JCB bucket every few days. We never found the MHS point that is advertised in the sites book.
There are no facilities for children
There is no tourist information except for couple of leaflets abandoned in the toilet block ! Lovely Saundersfoot is accessed via a long narrow downhill lane, torch needed, which takes you downhill to the village, 10 minutes downhill >> 15 minutes uphill. 5 pubs most of which serve food and several shops [there is a Spar]. The walk to wiseman's bridge is worth the stroll
Forgot to mention that the peace and tranquility of the evening was interupted by someone nearby ! flattening the ground in their awning with a 'whacking machine'
We were charged £17 a night for a motorhome. I thought it was very steep for what you get, a very very basic site
