We came across this site whilst searching ukcampsite.Co.Uk and ringing around (the week before) to find spaces for the bank holiday weekend that would be our first camping expedition, complete with shiny unused kit.
What a stroke of luck, the lady on the phone told us she was fully booked, as had the previous 20 places we called, but then took pity on us and said she could fit us in, but we must realise they would be pretty full. We jumped at the chance.
The site was very easy to find using sat-nav, and first impressions as we drove up the drive were very good. Very neat, beautifully kept. There is a sign at the gate asking new arrivals to telephone, but sadly my mobile (O2) could not get a signal. We drove around and found the owner and we were directed to a spot in the rear field.
Despite being told it was full, there was plenty of space, obviously they don’t believe in cramming people in too tightly, unlike many we drove past. Kind neighbours lent us a mallet (thank you) and putting up the tent went well.
The whole place was immaculately kept with a real family atmosphere, our 4 year old little girl soon found some playmates whilst we sorted tea. There is a nice gravel drive running though the site allowing good views of any car traffic moving around (important if you want to let your kids run free). The toilets / showers / laundry & washing point were something to behold. Bright, incredibly clean and fresh-smelling. Considering there were quite a few people on the site it was amazing how clean and fresh everything had been kept. We saw it being cleaned at least twice during our 1 night stay and we didn't see one piece of litter all weekend. Nothing on the site looked, old or run-down or even 'well used'.
The only downside for us was that there was some sort of disco in the field behind us which was really quite loud and went on quite late, making it quite hard for all of us to get to sleep. We were informed it would happen when we arrived and, to be fair, I would have booked and gone even if I had know it was going to happen anyway.
Very easy to get to Cromer, Sheringham, Blakeny and Wells (our favourite). We would not hesitate to recommend this little gem to anyone. We had a lovely time and we’ll definitely be returning.

Decided last minute to book for 1 night in August holidays for myself and the kids. The site was so lovely we decided to stay another night. We received a warm greeting and were made to feel very welcome. The toilet/shower/wash facilities were spotless. The campsite is very quiet and peaceful set in a nice village which has a local co-op, butchers, bakers, post office, fruit and veg shop - everything you need. We like Wells-Next-The-Sea beach which was about a 20-25 minute drive. We had a lovely time and I've already recommended to friends. We'll definitely be back and for a longer stay next time.

We found this site on the ukcampsite search. We didn't book as we were just travelling and finding sites if we were near them on the day.
We turned up, with the help of satnav, to the address above only to find a very narrow lane. We asked at the local butchers who gave us directions (we needed to carry on for 200m only)
We were made very welcome even though we couldn't tell the owner how long we were staying but she was happy for us to stay on a day-to-day basis
The village has a butchers and a bakers and a co- op store and a mace store. It has two pubs. We only went into one but that was about 3/4 mile away but came recommended for its food.
The owner is trying to site people with dogs in one field which is nearest the dog walking area and the other two fields kept for tents and caravan/motorhomes. We had the choice where to put us up in this field and we chose to be near to the shower/toilet block which was clean as a whistle at all times. Only possible problem is number of toilets(2) one of which is the shower, but that didn't occur while we were there for eight days
I didn't see any child play area, but wasn't looking so maybe there is one.

This is a very quiet, well kept site. The owners seem to know what people need. The toilets were spotless, the only thing missing was no towels to dry your hands. The area is great, Holt is not far away, likewise the coast is close. When we were there they was a c&cc rally on, still room for others on site. Also in Holt there was a 1940s weekend this is on the same weekend every year.

We spent four nights at Pine View at the end of August. Located on the edge of the village of Briston, about a 20 minute drive from the seaside resort of Cromer, the site consisted of three small landscaped fields, two for caravans and one for tents, which were level and neatly mown. Electric hook-ups were available in all three fields. There were no marked pitches. Its close proximity to the village may not suit those looking for a very rural site; however, the advantage is that the village store, bakers and butchers are only a five minute walk away and there are also several supermarkets within a fifteen minute drive.
The amenities were contained within a new single block and were clean and modern. One generously-sized shower with toilet plus single toilet and hand basins in each of the ladies and gents. Ample hot water, hand soap and toilet paper. Showers were 50p for ten minutes. There was also a laundry room with washing machine and tumble-dryer, for which there were coin meters, plus a washing-up sink.
During our stay, there was an average of a dozen caravans and two tents at any one time so it was fairly quiet. The camp site was quiet by 10.30 pm. With any noise generated after that time coming from the nearby (minor) road and village.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and took our cool blocks for freezing in their own freezer at no charge.
The site was child and dog friendly and we were pleased to able to recycle glass, paper etc. On the site.
The only problem we had was on one occasion when a late arrival was allowed to start pitching their tent nearby after 11.00 p.M.
We had a pleasant and relaxing stay at this site and its location gave us good access to the north and west coast of Norfolk with the benefit of being removed from the busy camp sites nearer the coast.

This is a lovely site with 2 acres of flat well mown grass in a quiet location on the edge of the village. Used to be a C&CC Certificated site for only 5 units but is now Listed and has 15 electric hook-ups and loads of space for more tents, caravans and motor homes. The toilet block is immaculate but the one disadvantage is that there are only two toilets and 1 shower for ladies and the same for gents so it could get a bit crowded if the site was busy, although owner told me that they had had rallies there with no problem. 50p meter for showers. No children's play area but plenty of room for them to run around and kick a ball without any problem. Good dog walking area. General store within walking distance and Holt is only a few miles by car for pubs and shopping. Site surrounded by trees and well landscaped. Definitely worth a visit if you want to explore north Norfolk. Will go again.
