Stayed here for 3 nights over August bank hols, On arrival there is a barrier which you have to go into the pub to ask the owner to open for you. Once you have unloaded, you have to move your car into the car park as you are not allowed to leave at the side of your tent. The field is not that big and tents and caravans are quite close together. Never used the pub. The toilet/shower block is run down, toilets were dirty, cobwebs and they smelt, no power sockets and the washing up sinks are in the ladies toilets. The children's play area is very small. Ingomells is about a 20 mins walk (we had a lovely meal at the Ship Inn, very nice inside)and Skegness is only a short car drive away.

Good location.
Hot water in showers (see comments below).
Food was nice.
C.C.T.V. In car park and a barrier.
Electric hook up available.
No dedicated washing area- (its in the ladies toilets! A bit tricky if your a single dad with boys!)
Showers were hot but no temperature controls, they are either on or off.
Toilet/shower block was dirty. (needed a good clean, even allowing for bad weather, I would have expected a bit better.)
Children's play area had a broken swing and a broken slide!
Staff unfriendly and difficult to locate.)

The facilities are clean the showers are nice and warm,
There is 24 hour cctv on site and a barrier system to get in and out of the site
there is always someone about to give a helping hand
The food is out of this world my mum owns a cafe and I would say that it was better than my mums
There is a fantastic kids room and play area
But most of all we were made to feel welcome by all the staff. I would will and have recommended this site
Despite the comment about the lady who said it was shabby take no notice it's very nice

Me my husband and our 2 year old son have stayed on this site many times and would recommend it to everyone. The site is tidy and the shower blocks are clean.
The landlord, the landlady and the staff made us feel welcome and at home. They always made sure we had every thing we needed and went out of there way to help us. Our stay was worth every penny.

We only booked on the previous Monday and alarm bells should have rung when it was the only site in probably the whole world with any space left. Not a bad location but very run down and depressing. Staff friendly but give the impression that they are a bit new to it all Toilet block is as prev stated Pub is also ready for a revamp as it is a bit shabby.
Was only told on arrival that once in we couldn't move until we left (not a good option with a motorhome) Gas is available but only if your van uses the really big propane bottles, again not very useful
Oh and all this for £24 a night
