We stayed at this site for 2 weeks along with my two brothers and their families. We all had a most enjoyable time Kids ,Teenagers and Adults. The site was well run and kept very clean, the manager Eric worked so hard always seemed to be doing something, the aminities on site were very good indeed. The large individual pitches, were flat and on good ground set in a nice woodland setting. It was so nice and quiet in the evenings along with plenty of easy cycling from the site.
The previous review by Wenpip has really said it all and I would totally agree with her wonderful review entirely. We would certainly recommend this site and return again.

Not much to add to previous review, except we really loved this site so had to say something. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, including providing us with tent pegs as we'd (yes really) left ours at home, and cooking us a late supper at the bar on our first (late)night.
The site offered us our ideal of peaceful and very spacious pitch in which to relax, and enough activities to keep boys 11 and 8 years old endlessly occupied. It felt very safe for the boys with friendly atmosphere and very little car traffic. Swum in the pool daily which met our needs very adequately, and was never too crowded. The facilities were plentiful, and all kept beautifully clean.
Could have found attractions of interest in the region to last all summer, but during our 10 day break the highlights were probably canoeing on the Loire only a 10 minute drive away at La Menitre, visiting Richard Rac's troglydite art exhibition only a short walk up the road, an infinite number of chateau, and an unexpected delight in the troglydite zoo a 30 minute drive away at Doue-la-Fontaine, for which we had allowed an hour, but wished we had all day.
We would be more than happy to stay at this site again.

We visited 3 sites this summer - this is the first site we stayed on - Overall we thought this site was excellent.
The site was really easy to find with our sat nav and also via map from AA site that our friends used. It was in a really lovely rural location surrounded by farmers fields of corn on the cob, wheat and sunflowers. Lots of little villages surrounding and would take approx 5 mins to get to a tiny, tiny village which has a cafe, shop and tabac and about 20 mins to the nearest supermarket. The nearest large town was about 40 min drive.Really nice to take a bike and go for bike rides in the countryside.
The site is very secure as it has a barrier and either reception open this for you or you can use the key that they give you if reception is closed.
The pitches are individually marked with plot numbers and have tall hedges around back and sides and most are shaded under tress which was lovely when the sun was beaming down all day. The pitches were large with room for our 6 man Monty and extension plus a large car - still with room to set up a cooking area and table and chairs to sit . The site has lots of tress/ greenery and a lovely wooded area which was just at the back of us (we were in pitches 101 if you want to have the wooded area behind you) - have the feeling of space but everything is just a short walk away if you have the right pitch.
We drifted off to sleep to the sound of owls and woke up to the sound of peacocks.
We had mainly really lovely hot weather but it rained for 2 days but kids could still swim in big pool as they simply covered it with the roof! brill! they also have a small pool for babies.
We were directly facing the park / volley net which was handy to let the kids play but still see them. Quite a quiet site which was silent after about 11 ish but we sat round with our fire tin going and chatted quietly.
The restaurant was near to the pool and looked ok - they had a specials menu each night e.G mussels for 8 Euros etc.Etc.
The toilet and shower blocks were large, modern and clean and I never had to Q. Male & female were separate. The shower cubicles again, were good size with a small area to put your clothes and pegs to hang up your washbag etc. They had 2 hair dryers . Also 5-6 large sinks for washing dishes.
They had entertainment for the kids from 7 - 8 (singing and dancing) and activities everyday such as archery, football tournament, horse riding canoeing, ping pong, tennis courts.
You can also hire bikes & crazy bikes for about 7 euros per day.
Freezer blocks can be put in the freezer free of charge but never really froze properly as the freezer was so packed.
We visited the Château a 2 min walk from the site for 6 Euros per adult and collected peacock feathers - was really lovely and the kids had the best time.
We would thoroughly recommend this site if you have kids, or just want peace & quiet with an authentic 'french' feel - we would definitely stay here again if we visited the Loire. I am happy to reply to any questions that you may want to ask and also a map of the pitches if you want me to scan and send so you can see your pitch in advance- we loved this site.
