Had on first planning our month tour of France to stay at this site for around 7 days but having gone to El der Re first had our main stay there. Went to Camping Bel after. At 25.10 euro a night this was the most expensive site we found on our trip and although nice sorry not worth the cost. Although there were numerous spaces we were told which pitch to use which as with other comments I agree was small. Electric and water are on pitch and the toilets and showers are clean. The site seems to be occupied mainly by Brits who on conversation have made this their regular site. The Beach is lovely and not far to walk. A Supermarket is a 5 minute walk. Told by numerous Brits on the site you will not get a better site, for the price I would expect a lot lot more. A good site for a family with kids.

Stayed here for 2 weeks and had a great time.
We took the Ferry to Le Havre and then it was a 6 hour drive down (including a couple of stops).
The site is located on the outskirts of La Tranche but is only 150m from the sandy beach. We went there nearly every day. The main beach has fantastic watersports available but we choose the quieter one near the jetty. The town centre is about 15 mins walk and has a reasonable selection of restaurants & shops but is nothing special.
There is a large supermarket within an easy walk from the site. We stocked up every day. This was very handy as it kept our costs down. France defintely isn't as cheap as it used to be. Beer, Wine, Bread and Cheese were cheaper than the UK. Everything else was either the same or a bit more expensive when we visited. Eating out costs a fortune now.
The site is especially suited for families with young kids. I think teenagers might get a bit bored unless their with friends. There is a football court, pool table etc.
Facilities were very clean. No queues. Some pitches were a little on the small side but still OK. Lots of Eurocamp / Keycamp. Try to bring your bikes, there are lots of flat cycle paths to explore. The owners speak English.

Our first visit to this site and certainly not our last. Great location, 5 mins from beach and a short walk to town with plenty of eating to be found.
Bikes are a must at Tranche sur Mer, there are cycle routes everywhere and actually bikes are useful on the campsite.
Site itself is excellent. Separate toilets and shower/washing facilities which means no unpleasant smells while you are showering! Spotlessly clean - there seemed to be people cleaning them all the time. I found pitch sizes fine, our Monty 6 with new front extension was no problem and our friends who we went with had the adjacent pitch with their new Idaho with extension and again no problem. We had stated when booking that our tents were large so maybe that helped.
Pool fine, it has a jacuzzi which was a bit of pain because the kids just wanted to be in there all the time but a very minor issue.
Playgrounds, tennis, basketball etc on site. Very family friendly as previous reviewer mentioned good mix of nationalities. Our kids are 3 & 6 and it was safe and ideal.
The ground is very sandy (being by the sea!) so long tent pegs are the order of the day - my deltas just came out. The pitches are all individual and bordered by hedging and trees so it is sheltered.
There is a mix of campervans, caravans, tents and Eurocamp.
Highly recommended, book directly with the site rather than through one of the brokers and take bikes for everyone.
Already planning to return for 3 weeks next year!

First visit to this site and a very pleasant one. Location is very good if you don't want to use your car very much, just on the edge of La Tranche sur Mer and only 7 or 8 minutes walk into town. Very good beach only 5 minutes walk plus excellent surfing beach at La Terriere about 10 mins in the car. Plenty of restaurants and take-aways in La Tranche.
The site itself: Good mix of French, Brits, Dutch, Germans, pitches a bit on the small side although we were aware of this before we booked and didn't have any problem fitting our Outwell Colorado 5 on. Didn't walk around the entire site so I don't know if there were some larger ones. British style toilets were cleaned regularly and there were plenty of them although lighting a little inadequate - better at night when the lights came on. Handbasins were in a separate area and no soap is provided (I find this a real nuisance but it's not the first time I've come across it). Any hygiene problems seemed to be caused by young children using the facilities unsupervised. Showers, dishwashing facilities, laundry room, etc all clean and well maintained. Showers and dishwashing a bit hit and miss temperature wise but plenty of them, we never had to queue.
Small bar, games room and take-away. Outdoor swimming pool not huge but a reasonable size. We used it most days and only found it really crowded once.
Owners and staff very friendly and helpful and willing to listen to my painful french!
Playground facilites and other activities suit the under 12s. Didn't hear any noise after 11 ish at night.
On the whole I liked the site though I prefer a bit more room on the pitches.
