I Stayed at Tall Trees for the weekend with my girlfriend and we were warmly welcomed by friendly and hospitable owners. We meet friends there who had stayed before and I could see why the had suggested that we all stayed there. The children had plenty of room to play in (as one of the other reviewers says there isn't a play area as such but the kids just played kids games with other kids on the site and enjoyed exploring) and the relaxed atmosphere made chilling out and enjoying a few beers very easy.
The site has its own shop with some great local produce and was well located for exploring the local area. We went fishing just a couple of miles up the road at the next village which was excellent and well worth the effort.
We had no problems parking our motorhome and hooking up and the shower and toilet block were both good, clean and close too.
Overall a great stay and we will be back.

Agree with the sentiment of the previous post, this could be a cracking site.
As a work in progress it is not, unfortunately, quite there yet.
When we visited we found the owners to be extremely friendly.
As a family who keep themselves to themselves there is little to say other than comment on the facilities.
There is a small shop on site which is of a superior nature to many, and is stocked with excellent fresh produce.
The toilet facilities are small, only one WC for men.
The showers were cold as the boiler had ceased to work, but given it was a Bank Holiday with a sizeable attendance on site there seemed little appetite to resolve the issue and again, there were too few showers for a site of this size, again, only one for males.
Huge potential here and the spirit of the people at Tall Trees is very nice, but a little attention to detail is required.

We have just returned from a few days at this site. There are very good public transport links to Peterborough, March and local places about 15 minutes walk from the site. Staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly.
The site is spacious, there is some road noise but we didn't find it intrusive. Showers and toilets are available, they are clean.
The site is new and has the potential to be wonderful with a little more attention to detail. We will revisit.

Being a newbie to camping we chose a local camping site, we contacted the site on the morning of our departure and we were informed that we could arrive any time as we did not need an electrical hook up We were told that as it was early on in the season there was no showers as there where under repair, the toilet block was lovely and clean and well serviced with soap and towels.
There was no play area for the children but we had 35 acres to roam in, if we had walked the perimeter we would have 1 mile to stroll. This site is not far from the A47 and there was a little traffic noise and plenty of birds in the morning but that is what you expect in the country.
There is plenty of areas of interest within a 10 mile radius. The site staff were great, it is a family run business and they were all interest in our first night, we would definitely go back, we will be taking the dog next time as they also have a designated dog walk area. This site was reasonable priced and a friendly site.
