Small site located about 1/2 mile from the village when you take the footpath avoiding roads. Site is located down a narrow road about 200 yds form the main road. Morfa Nefyn has a pub, chip shop a couple of shops, petrol station and a superb beach. If you do go your must visit the pub on the beach but you have to walk to it, there is no vehicle access, well worth it though. N

The site is located off a quiet B road with views towards nearby hills. Extremely quiet and dark at night. The caravan field is gently sloping all pitches have power and water, showers disposal etc are close by. Facilities are excellent clean and modern. There is also camping/rally field. If you like walking there are plenty of footpaths in the area the landscape is generally gently rolling but with numerous hills which give stunning views of the surrounding country. Its an excellent base to explore the area, Caernarfon is not far, Porthmadoc with he Ffestiniog and Welsh highland railways is a must and there are many smaller but picturesque villages all over the peninsula.

Owners are very friendly but leave you alone so all considered this is an excellent site and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

We have visited this site many times over the years. There has been many improvements made this season including a newly decorated wash/ shower room and a new children's play area (mainly for younger children). The field itself is cut nice and short with some landscaped areas. There are lots of hookups with good spacing between units. The scenery is second to none. At the top of the road there is a pub and Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn beaches are within a mile or so. As you can gather we like this site and are sure to return.

Here for two weeks, toilets and showers cleaned once and even then not very well. Spiders webs, poo hardened within toilet bowl etc. This is the dirtiest site I have ever been on. They only cleaned when I made a complaint. They have taken their guests for granted and during the busiest weeks of the year they decide not to clean. The site itself is very pleasant, lovely location but I am afraid the owners neglect their guests. Don't come here, there are plenty of sites in this area.
Management response: I am sorry that you had an unpleasant stay. If you had spoken to me direct and not left an anonymous note, I would have been more than happy to listen to your complaints. I am always available and I saw you on quite a number of occasions and you didn't say anything. I can assure you this is not normal practice and hope you will visit again.

Please note if reading older reviews, that this site is under new ownership and management from 2020.

A level site which is well landscaped. We never met the owners as you turn up to find your pitched on the notice board and they have an honest box to put the fee into. I felt a little hard done by, as we were only in a 2 man tent, with no electric hook up, and we had to pay the same as a large tent using electric.

There only appeared to be 4 showers that are unisex, which doesn't seem enough for the size of the site, they were clean though.

An excellent cosy campsite in the middle of an area of astounding natural beauty. The proprietors are very friendly and laid back, yet the facilities are good enough to make life pleasant and the small size of the campsite helps make it safer for children to run around. Pitches are a decent size and they are not too close together compared to other campsites. The campsite had a toddlers'(mainly) play area which was a welcome addition to previous years. There's a small shared fridge in the shower block but the one sink (also located in the shower block) meant there was a bit of a queue at busy times. The additional toilets (separate block) were cordoned off when we were there but being off-season, it didn't matter much because they was always one vailable from the main block.

Like others, I would also recommend you buy some eggs from the proprietors. Tastiest, freshest eggs I have tasted in a while. There is a BBQ area with picnic tables near the children's play area and that helps travel lighter as you need only bring some charcoal and meat and you can feast yourself on a nice BBQ! Yum!

The nearby pub is well worth the visit, with some excellent food and beer. The children't playarea at the Bryn Cynan pub is also good for occupying the odd hour in the evening. The postcode doesn't work on most Sat Navs so the best tip beyond what other reviews have already pointed out is on the way from Pwllheli to Morfa Mefyn, when you get to the roundabout of the Bryn Cynan Pub turn left and as you get to the bottom of the hill, turn left (alas no signposts with the campsite) and about 50 yards to your right after the entrance to the Graeanfryn Farm B&B you have a dedicate entrance to the campsite.

Spent 4 days at this site mid May. Well maintained pitches with plenty of room. Toilets and showers are shared. There is plenty of room with sink, toilet and shower with space for hanging clothes up. Plenty of hot water available.

The site is ideal for exploring the area with Morfa Nefyn beach just 5 minutes drive away. The pub nearest the site is very accomodating and we had a nice meal. The pub accepts dogs and children with a playarea for the children.

Overall the site is good and well worth a visit. They also sell beautiful fresh eggs.

I have been to this site many times with my 2 children and with being a single parent feel my children and I are all safe whilst we are there.

The site has horses in the next field which is a true joy to wake up look out your window and see them running about a true pleasure to watch and my children enjoy feeding carrots and apples too.

The site is a family run site and the owner is easy to obtain either by the buzzer outside the shower block and also by mobile. The shower block I have always found to be clean and since the new toilets have been added this is a true bonus. There is washing up sink and fridge freezer.

The local village where there is a spar shop for all those forgotten and Nefyn beach is well worth a visit and not forgetting the pub on the roundabout in 5 min walking distance has a play area and tasty meals.

I recommend this site to family and friends and to others you wont be disappointed.

We worked out during our last visit that we've been visiting this site for almost 20 years. So you can probably guess that this review isn't going to be negative.

This is a small site and up until this year had four toilets / showers combined in a block that also housed the sink / washing up area and a smallfridge / freezer for your ice packs and food.

Some people have commented on the shower / toilets being combined not being ideal and I'd have to agree, but take into account the size of the site, with less than 30 pitches, you are never going to have to wait long for a free shower /toilet. Every time I've visited its been cleaned regularly.

During this visit we were pleased to see the shower / toilet block has been completely redecorated, with new floors and has had the extractor fans repaired (lack of them had caused a slight damp problem over the past few years in the toilet block).

A new extra toilet building has been added to give a little more flexibility.

This is a small site and so doesn't have a play ground, but does have plenty of room for children in the centre of the main camping field. The surrounding fields are populated by some friendly horses. There is a small area with some picnic tables and a barbecue stand.

I like the small size of this site as it allows me some security to allow my younger child to run around. Only 500 yards away is the Bryn Cynan Pub, with a decent menu and a good child's playground.

The owner is friendly and helpful, doesn't appear much, but is (in my experience) always available on mobile or the on site intercom system.

This site is 5 minutes drive from one of the best beaches in the whole of Great Britian (but don't tell everyone), Porthdillaen, with its famous beach pub The Ty Coch.

We stayed at this site in a group of 8 and had all 4 tents pitched together, our pitches were reserved for us when we got there and they were decent sized pitches.

Although the owners are not there to greet you, they do put all the information you need on a notice board advising you of your pitch numbers and any local information is all advertised in the wash room (with leaflets if you want them). They even leave you their telephone number in case you do need to contact them (which we used to order our fresh home grown eggs - they were lovely and would recommend them).

We went Quad Biking, not too far away in car, about 10-15 mins drive and we had loads of fun on them. Would recommend giving it a go.

There is a very friendly pub not too far away which was very welcoming.

Will definitely return to this site, if not this year maybe next.

Very pretty and peaceful site but the toilets / showers were a disappointment. We were there for a week and the toilets were not cleaned for the first 4 days and only then when we asked. That was the only time they were really clean. The washing up sink was part of the toilet block with no separate area.

There was no welcome or any contact from the owners - all contact was done by notes. This meant we could not use their local knowledge.

A shame as the site could have been fantastic.
