Stunning location with far reaching views. Very quiet, peaceful site. Slight slope to field but able to park[campervan] on hard standing which was level. Good facilities for a CL site, clean and newish toilet/shower block. Very hot water. Access is down narrow lanes and best suited to smaller vans. The immediate area would make an excellent walking weekend with lots of open ground immediately accessible from the site. I enjoyed my stay, even though the weather was bitterly cold.
I was left to it by the owner, which I prefer, I was the only person camping there I will return when the weather is warmer! Ideal for campervans.
Overall nice site in an excellent location but care needed down narrow access roads, which should be no problem for experienced drivers of caravans and campers. Local village 0. 7 miles had shop, pub, cafe.

Just come back from a lovely week here in our folding camper. What beautiful views! Site owner (Ray) is a lovely man, very helpful and great to have a chat with.
Great if you like walking as we took our dog up and over hills on the moor. Great to see the sheep, horses and cows roaming free on the moor too.
The eggs are beautiful, we even bought 2 dozen home with us. Gorgeous peaceful site which is exactly what we like.
There is a small shop and some tea rooms and a pub/hotel just down the road in Minions.

We stayed here in our folding camper, brilliant, very friendly and welcoming owners and nothing too much trouble.
Beautiful location. Lovely and quiet, as promised!
Facilities exactly as stated, clean showers and toilets and electric hook up and nothing else, basic for some, but exactly what we required. Perfect for getting away from it all, but near enough for access to local shop, pub etc and supermarket not too far away either.
Staying again in a couple of weeks!

This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to really chill out. We stayed for 2 weeks end of June/beginning July and loved it so much we went back again 1st October for a week. The view is spectacular. The facilities spotless - even when there were 5 vans staying in the summer and the toilet block being used by all, they were kept pristine.
Ray and his wife couldn't be more friendly. The eggs they sell are the best you can get. It's a mile walk, with cows, sheep and horses roaming free (which is a wonderful site to see)to the local store/post office which has everything you need. If they haven't got it, they'll get it for you. The Cheesewring Hotel opposite keeps an excellent pint and a good glass of wine - what more can you ask for?
Yes the grass does stay a bit wet this time of year but a pair of wellies to hand solves that problem!
Highly recommend Cheesewring Farm and will go back again soon.

We stayed here with our old folding camper several years ago. A new small toilet block has since been added, comprising 1 room for each ladies, gents & disabled containing shower, toilet and sink, which were all kept clean.
The site is in a perfect, quiet location, you can walk straight off site onto Bodmin Moor. The village of Minions is around 1 mile from site, it has 2 tea rooms (1 dog friendly), 1 pub and a shop.
It was a very wet weekend and the grass pitch areas had quite long grass and were not coping very well with the weather. Levellers are needed on all the grass areas and an additional/extra long extension hook up would be useful.
TV signal is excellent, you can see the transmitter from site!

Tregarton Park, Mevagissey
With sea and countryside views, Tregarton Park is ideal for couples or families with younger children, given its relaxed seclusion and proximity to so many of Cornwall's fine safe sandy beaches. Large grass and hardstanding pitches with electric, divided by hedging and shrubs, perfect for tents and tourers. No statics! Superb toilet and shower block with large glass shower cubicles operated by motion sensors with ceiling mounted shower heads, laundry room, baby changing station.
This peaceful park is home to an outdoor heated swimming pool with waiter service, tennis court, adventure playground, outdoor football table, table tennis, pool table, large shop and take away service. FREE WiFi, dog walking meadow. Pentewan Beach is just five minutes away! Find out more here

Thank you CK+B for your kind comments, as the owners of Cheesewring Touring Caravan Site we try to keep the grass cut as often as possible, but when the grass is wet the mowers will not collect it, so on occasions it may be longer than normal.
We do have a slight slope on our site but this as yet has not caused any problems. Yes we do have a new” Shower and Toilet Block” and our location is one of the best in Cornwall, a walker paradise, direct access onto the moors.
