 This was a nice quiet site (as expected of a CS) It was adults only which helped too.
The little lake in the site and walk around it was really nice, you can feed the fish too.
The site had lovely views.
The owner was friendly.
The facilities were basic, but kept clean. The only thing I didn't like was that the door to the toilet was not full length, and it was unisex so not much privacy. Also in the room where people are waiting to use to loo or shower, is the washing up sink, we choose to wash up at the tent as the wiffs from the loo when you are washing the pots wasn't great!

Stayed here for four nights.
Very quiet site, no traffic noise at all. The tent field is quite exposed which probably would not normally be an issue but when we were there is was very windy and some shelter would have been very welcome.
The owner was really helpful and lent us an extension so we could use a hook up. There was no strict rule of having to be packed up and gone by 11am which was great.
A word of warning there are lots of thistles and nettles hidden in the grass so wear something on your feet all the time.
There are 2 showers and a toilet so sometimes there was a queue but as is only a small site this is to be expected. You just need to pick your time to shower.
Overall a very pleasant stay and we'll definitely go back.

Excellent site, all hard standings for caravans
Lovely woodland walks, will look a picture when the bluebells are all out.
Very quite with lovely views.
Very friendly owners, nothing too much trouble.
Village only couple of miles away with usual shops.
Tenterden only three miles away with Tesco's for all your shopping and many independent shops.

We have visited twice this year we liked the site so much! A small site with 5 hardstandings with hookups round the first field and a second field where tents could pitch. All beside a beautiful wood, with a lovely circular walk and a large pond stocked with carp - with food to give them, too! In view of the pond children are not welcome here, but this makes for a very peaceful site, with loads of birds and rabbits!
There is a toilet block with two toilets and a shower - a bit homemade but all working and clean with plenty of hot water and well lit at night.
The site is about 3 miles from Tenterden with a huge selection of pubs, shops, etc. Biddenden vineyard is within 5 miles, and there is an abundance of NT properties and beautiful towns and countryside nearby. Some very good farm shops selling local produce.
