You could not expect more from any campsite, let alone a certified location!
The owners are very friendly, as are the users of the site, you feel as if you have joined a small community. We went for 5 nights in a motorhome and were very impressed by the beauty of the little site. You really could not ask for more for £12 a night, its a bargain!
The location is brilliant, only a 15 minute walk from shops, a Harvester restaurant and a bus service into Blackpool.
The one downside I could think of is that there is only one toilet and one shower, but notices on the site say that there are plans for a shower/toilet wood cabin building to be built late 2010/2011.
Overall I would say this is a fantastic little site and would recommend it to anyone, it really is a bargain!

Absolutely fantastic, great hosts, clean showers and toilets, highly recommended lovely and quiet cant wait to go back.
On entering the site there is a board with all the site details and a list of occupants. This states your pitch number, and so you can pitch up without having to bother the owners. However there is a bell to ring on the gate besides the toilet if you need any assistance.
Pulling onto the site, all pitches are gravel hardstanding, flat and wide enough for caravan plus awning with grass in between. Each pitch has EHU and all are close to a water tap for drinking water.
In the corner of the site is a small area with a picnic bench and also a wooden bench seat and a children's swing, seesaw and boat swing.
The perimeter has mature trees but the rest of the site open and pleasant.

We have just spent a lovely weekend at this new site. The owners have recently taken over and refurbished and landscaped to a high standard.
To get the only negative I have got out of the way, the entrance to the site is narrow and a large unit may struggle, but it is possible and well worth it.

1 side is fenced with a a gate which leads you up to the house where the waste water and chemical disposal can be found. Also the toilet and shower.
The toilet and shower room are clean and the water hot. These are currently attached to the house but there are plans to build a log cabin style facility nearer to the pitches in 2010/2011.
In the top corner of the site is a small area with a picnic bench and also a wooden bench seat and a children's swing.
The perimeter has mature trees but the rest of the site open and pleasant.
Within a short drive or 10/15 minutes walk there are various shops including a butchers, small supermarket, fish and chip shop etc., Also a couple of pubs.
I have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone and at £12 per night (awnings extra) is reasonably priced. I can see this being a future CL of the year! Our only problem having told you all about it will be not being able to get a pitch in the future.
