 A pleasant site in a good location - the upper parts of the site have views of the mountains of Snowdonia. Very handy for Caernarfon and pretty convenient for Llanberis. Only a few minutes from the A55 dual carriageway.
We were in a tent and didn't mind the slight slope on the site and most everyone seemed to have pitched without too much difficulty.
We were there over the August Bank Holiday and the toilet block was busy at peak times. A significant number of people who were camped in the overflow tent field found that they preferred to drive to the toilet block (this is against site rules). There was plenty of hot water while we were there.
The owners were friendly and there was no problem with noise or music.
The children's play area is not impressive (easy to miss it's at the very top of the left field as you drive in).

Just returned from a weekend at this campsite, on arrival I wasn't sure where to check in until I saw a sign to say find a 'space and pitch up' after finding a space, which was nice, I settled down for the evening.
The facilities here are minimal, no reception, no shop, two showers and four toilets in the ladies, which in my opinion really isn't enough, there was a line of people waiting for a shower. The children's play area was just a couple of small climbing frames which meant there were ball games going on outside my tent - noisy! However the scenery was lovely. I paid £23 per night with electric hook up

Just spent 4 nights at this campsite in out trusty Bear Lake 6. Good job we had the Bear Lake because we woke to snow on the Wednesday morning, but the tent just took all that the weather had to throw at it!
This is a well kept site, within a short car journey of the excellent town of Caernarfon. They have 2 hook up pitches for tents. Most of the site is quite sloping but not too much of a problem.
Pros: Magnificent views of the Snowdon range, clean and modern showers and toilets,reasonably priced at £14 per night with EHU and dog. Lots of excellent walks nearby. Pub (Y Bedol) at nearby Bethel (750yards)
Cons: Only 1 washing up sink?? Could be hard work in Summer? No shops till Caernarfon - but if you go prepared, shouldn't really be a problem.
Will visit again.
