We spent one night here on the way to Germany. We found the site after a few wrong turns. It's a lovely, clean quiet site. The lady at reception was friendly and managed to understand us and make herself understood in English. I was able to get to and from the facilities easily on my mobility scooter. The facilities were very clean. The showers had push buttons and it took a while for the water to warm up, but it was hot after a while.
I would recommend this site

Turned up unexpectedly without prior booking in 35 degree heat.
Owner very friendly and told us to pitch anywhere we chose.
Our electric lead did not reach so we chose a shaded pitch without power.
Clean showers and toilets which is what we wanted for a quick stay.
Cost us 9 euros which was excellent for us.
Thoroughly recommended for a quick stopover next to river.
A lovely peaceful location for older couples, unsure what facilities there are for children.

A lovely convenient stopover near Reims. Ideal for breaking a journey to or from the south. We arrived without a reservation on a fairly busy Monday in July and were lucky to get a pitch.
A very friendly lady told us to pitch anywhere and only charged us 13 euro with electric for the privilege. For that price we were dubious about what awaited us through the coded gate although the office/cottage where the check in is was very pretty and well kept.
The site is petite and the pitches are not marked so you really can go just about anywhere you can fit so be aware if you like your personal space! We were lucky and found a good spot almost the last one that night. We did see a large motor home parked opposite the gates in the morning, so they obviously weren't as lucky.
The loos and showers were a surprise, they were very new, really clean and luxurious given that this is a municipal site.
We think a couple of nights would be nice here as its very close to the champagne houses and Reims itself but offers a lovely peaceful rural location. Not much in the way of other facilities in the village but there is a local restaurant which advertises in reception.
We didn't go there but there is a sign for a Leclerc supermarket just on the road as you turn off for the village. We will definitely go back here as we had a lovely evening here to finish of a fabulous holiday

Wow what a gem of a campsite! We went in our Vw T5 for one night as a stopover after a long drive from Manchester and the ferry crossing Dover to Calais. Already planning to go back! Beautiful location, friendly helpful owners, electronically gated site in what looks like a quiet residential area. Flat, spacious pitches, (you can choose where to pitch) and best of all the price! 15 euros per night for our campervan with 2 adults, a 15 year old and hook up. A lovely local shop 10 minute walk away stocks fresh bread/pastries and all essentials. Only regret is not staying longer to explore Reims. Its all good though, we will be back!
