This site is brilliant for walking the beautifull welsh country side. I have stayed here a few times and everyone I have met there have been lovely and friendly, the camp is clean and the staff are so nice. The camp fires are great! one of the best sites !

This is a great site, family friendly, clean, cheap shop, and close to so many places to visit. Being able to have a camp fire made it for us and the kids loved collecting firewood in the day. The big question was "what can we cook on the fire tonight?" We were due to go back for the bank holiday until my husband ended up on crutches. As soon as he can drive again we will be back!

Great site . Owners very friendly and helpful. Lots of space for the kids. Central for lots of places. Can get a bit windy with the wind coming up the valley. Very clean site and the toilets spotless, with plenty of hot water in the showers. I cannot find fault with this site at all and will recomend it to anyone. Best of all you can sit outside with a nice campfire. That sold it for us, can`t wait to go back

I have not long come back from Tyn-yr-onnen Farm, and what a lovely time we all had! I have two young children and it was the perfect break away. There is so much to do there, lovely walks, feeding the animals and a play area for the children! and thats just on site! The staff are so helpful and very friendly, they just can't do enough for you! The fresh air did wonders for everyone, as soon as the children woke up they wanted to be outside. Still on our return my little girl aged 3 has been telling everyone how she would like to be a farmer when she grows up! We loved it so much, that we have booked it for next year.

We really love this place,it excellent for children loads of animals to see and plenty of space for them to run around. Very friendly atmosphere and the bonus of being allowed a camp fire. You're left to you own devices, and it feels like a home away from home

Had a really good stay here.Nice clean site with good facilities. The Snowdon Parc site and pub is just a short walk. There is a short cut down the backs of some houses. You need a torch in the dark. Great scenery. Sometimes hook ups are hard to get if its very busy. Booking essential in the busy part of the season. Nice shop onsite.

Loved this site. Excellent facilities for a small site and spotlessly clean. Site a bit overcrowded at the bank holiday weekend but they had opened other fields so we weren't too cramped. Kids very happy here and there was loads to do without driving too far. Loved feeding the donkeys and the little red hen that inspected the tents. Most of all loved having a real fire. Can't wait to go back next year.

Spent the second May bank holiday at this site. Although it did get busy it never felt too crowded. The only fixed (tent) pitches are those with an electric hook up and there was plenty of room between the tents. This site is situated on a hill and many of the pitches are therefore on a slope.
That said, there were good facilities which were very clean. Good play area for children - although probably more for the younger ones. Did have games room & TV room but didn't go into them as our daughter is much younger.
We found the site to be much more relaxed and friendly that others. There was a small shop which stocked all the essentials and newspapers. The owners and other staff were very friendly and helpful.
We definitely intend to return. p.s this is a working farm - watch out for the noisy donkeys!

August 2004 This is an excellent camp site, ideal for exploring Snowdonia. A car is essential, as you need to drive a bit before starting your walks. There is a village shop, which is well supplied, within walking distance. Facilities are really good (plenty of showers, etc.) Very pleasing when you've arrived from a site that had meagre facilities. Only thing is, that over the weekend, it seems the owners tend to take in everyone that turns up, so that the site became extremely crowded, and fairly noisy until late at night.

May 2002 My family and I have visited this site for about 5yrs now and cannot find fault with it. We have stayed here without a car and managed very well. There is a village shop within walking distance which will supply you with all your needs (including kindling for your camp fires) Buses to Caernafon are frequent. The facilities r excellent and very, very clean. It is a working farm and animals can be noisy but what does one expect!! For peace and quiet - apart from the donkeys early morning!! - scenic surroundings and an excellent base for exploring Snowdonia this site cannot be beaten!
