Brilliant family friendly campsite been going ourselves for 3 years all season love it. Grandchildren love it. My son came to visit once now he stays with his family all season.
Owner and staff are friendly and very helpful they makes you feel welcome and at home not restricted by far too many rules. Toilets and showers are cleaned daily.
One criticism it should stay open all year.
Local train service is nearby which include local shops, butchers, laundry, 3 grocers shops, pub, arcade, India takeaway. Mini steam train and a beautiful beach all in a short walking distance.
We will all be back in the new year.

Great little campsite, generally unmanned (you can just turn up & pitch and farmer comes round in the morning around 10am to collect fee)toilet & shower block.
Kids might get board but it's quiet & beach is only 5minutes away
Caravans 1side tents the other plenty of space
Directly on beach road so 5minites walk to sandy beach with the kids it's very quiet even in August !
There's a hotel/pub on the way that serves great food & does children's meals at bargain prices
Little funfair/arcade/store all in one next door opposite is the train station you can hop on to Barmouth
Next to arcade store is a cafe quite expensive for a breakfast & coffee, they also have mini golf you can rent the clubs etc
Little post office/shop & an Indian restaurant which looks rather out of place there.
Mostly retired people bungalows etc everyone is friendly & welcoming
You can go and see the blue lagoon & pony trek with the kids £20 for parent & child on 1 horse or £20 each horse can go on from 4yrs
