Recently visited Carrs Hill camp site and can't praise it highly enough. The site is set out with hard standing and hook-up for each unit and well spaced out.
Everywhere is clean and tidy, with bins for separating different types of rubbish. The toilet and shower were kept in pristine condition with towels replaced with clean ones twice a day, and a regular supply of toilet rolls.
The owners are intending to add a dish washing area ready for next season also another toilet along with the information room this really does cover all you could want from a C. L site.
Found Plean Country park five minutes away a great place to explore and walk the dog.
An excellent overnight stop or holiday destination

Lovely site, ideally positioned for either an overnight stop as we did on our way south, or as a base to tour the surrounding area.
Easy to find just off the A9, but far enough away to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. It is peaceful and quiet with views of surrounding countryside.
We thought the pitches were well laid out, and the facilities clean and fresh.
The owners are in the process of completing the installation of shower facilities.
The owners were also, friendly, helpful and easily accessible if needed.
We highly recommend this site and will certainly be using it on all future adventures south.

We have been visiting this fab CL for about a year now. Grant and Gillian make you feel very welcome, as does Poppy the toothless Border Terrier.
Well spaced hardstandngs, wc and shower, well stocked information room, total peace and quiet, but, within easy reach of all the 'touristy' attractions ie. Stirling Castle, Old Town Jail, Wallace Monument, Falkirk Wheel, Loch Lomond, and excellent shopping in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Added bonus - It's open all year! We have stayed at hundreds of sites over the years and we would highly recommend Carrs Hill.
