Friendly and well run site in a stunning location.
The site is excellently maintained. The toilet and shower block is spotless and run to allow Covid safe use.
The owners are welcoming. There are beautiful walks through the Forest of Bowland which are easily accessible on foot from the site particularly using the clear maps and step by step paper guides which the site owner was happy to provide.
Excellent dog exercise area (enclosed for off lead charging about)
Good for fisherman - we think. We were fascinated to see someone else catch from and then replace a large carp into fishing lake.

Arrived on the Thursday welcomed by the owner Susan, Very Friendly and Helpful A Beautiful Campsite and very clean and well kept campsite. Toilets and Showers kept to very high standards and spotlessly clean. Owners Maintained the campsite several times a day. They take pride in their campsite.
We were on Electrical Hookup whilst there we had no problems. Very reasonable priced £22. 00 per night The dog walking area is well kept and my Dog's really enjoyed their walkies around the campsite and walkies out of the campsite too the little stream down the road.
15 mins drive to supermarkets and a lovely drive through Scorton Village, Susan's Husband is very friendly always made time to have a joke with my Daughter on predicting the Weather Forecast each day. He also maintained the campsite ensuring the bins was emptied throughout the day. Both Owners always had a smile on their faces and made everyone welcome.
We will definitely return. First time camping since 2006 and what a lovely experience we had and a lot of memories made thank you so much 5 stars plus for your site x
Also a Beautiful Fishing Lake that was well kept with Beautiful Views all around.

Great views in a lovely area. Socrton village is lovely we ate at the barn which like a secret garden, just fantastic.
Nearest pub was the Crofters hotel 10 mins drive, lovely staff and ales were excellent

Stayed here for first of season try out fairly local to home and storage yard. Booked by email and was accommodated at short notice amongst the covid madness.
When we arrived our name was not on the gate. We panicked for a minute as we were in the driveway with the caravan. Susan gave us a spare pitch and later apologised as she had forgotten about us which was understandable.
Our pitch was a bit wonky but maybe our bad pitching skills. Loved the site, clean and tidy. Adequate facilities.
Beautiful area with lots to do, scorton, Nicky nook etc. Little boy loved wandering round and the site had a nice vibe.
Next time would request a pitch in the round area as they looked flatter. Card payments were taken by Susan who drove round on her buggy which was a great idea.

My partner and I stayed here for the first time and we loved the site.
The facilities were spotless and the owners were friendly and obliging. The area around the fishing lake is stunning. We enjoyed watching a beautiful sunset.
Next time we go to Fell View, we are going to take our children and try our hands at fishing!
This is the prettiest site we've ever stayed on and perfect if you are wanting to get away from it all and relax.

What a lovely site! On arrival we phoned the owner who came within 5 mins and showed us where we could pitch up. Really nice, good sized pitches and the site looks really well maintained.
Bins and drinking water in each little pitching area and there was plenty of space in each area for the kids to play. Facilities are great - kept really clean and the showers were lovely and hot.
Owner very helpful and told us where nearby villages were. Nipped in to Scorton (2 min drive) for ice cream and a pint. Nice little pub, shop and garden centre there but not much else.
Also ventured in to Garstang which has more shops etc if needed. Also close to Morecambe (20 min drive) where kids loved the beach.
Overall a pretty site in a great location.

We saw the best and the worst of this site in the space of two days. We had booked three nights but ended up leaving a day early. First impressions were very good. The site is in a lovely location with fishing on site and plenty of walking and cycling opportunities.
The showers and loos are a little basic compaired to some sites but they are OK, separate facilities for men and women and a disabled toilet as well. There is also a good room for campers to use with some books, maps a kettle and a toaster. On our first night we thought we had found a site that we visit over and over again.
The campers started to arrive the following day. There is no deliniation between the camping area and the caravan areas so it all gets a bit haphazard. The majority of campers were proper campers ie respectful of others and of the site facilities. Unfortunately there were a sizeable number of other campers.
We had some next to us loud talking, drinking and raucous laughter until 1. 20 in the morning. I didn't call the owner having read a previous post about not getting an answer and I wasn't minded to wake someone else up in the early hours.
The other aspect of these campers is their lack of respect for the facilities so both myself and my other half found unflushed toilets (do they do this at home) paper towels just strewn over the floor instead of being put in the bin (does someone pick up for them at home) and just general mess caused by people who could not care less.
Rather than endure another night we decided to leave early
This is a lovely site which is ruined by some of the people they let stay.

Absolutely lovely site, only booked just before the May bank holiday as they had a cancellation and they emailed me straight away to let me know.
Can’t fault the site, beautiful scenery, very clean and nice toilet block and fishing right on site, which my husband and daughter really enjoyed.
The site owner meet us on arrival and was very helpful and extremely accommodating when asked for a late departure.
Will definitely come back and can’t recommend enough.
