Lovely well kept site with views over Firth of Forth. Easy walk into Anstruther where you can enjoy famous fish & chips overlooking the harbour.
Very friendly welcome upon arrival. Toilets & showers are immaculate with plenty space for keeping clothes dry while showering. Handy cubicles with wash hand basin - one with a hair dryer. Only suggestion would be hooks in the main block for wet jackets while using facilities.
Free wifi is only accessible if you stand under the receiver on the outside of the reception building which is a pain if it's raining!
Will be back!

Two nights as a lst minute booking on the beautiful Fife coast. We had previously stayed in Crail at Sauchope as a regular haunt, and with no front line availability there tried here - and it was a real find. Our site had no view to the sea - others have though, but still had a great soundtrack of the waves! Modern, clean and spacious site, which despite being fairly busy was very quiet. Excellent facilities all round, very welcoming staff on the phone and in person. On the pricey side, but factor in free wifi and showers and its fair enough. As others said, nice walk to Cellardyke and onward to Anstruther, so very good location.

Silverdykes is a top quality site all pitches are fully serviced and have free wifi. Toilets are super clean and the Staff are friendly and helpful. The views are stunning with coastal walks either to St Andrews or Anstruther with plenty of pubs and shops and a kids area. Excellent site will return.

We spent two days in our Motorhome at this site. Staff very helpful and friendly. Site was excellent and well laid out toilet block/shower facilities were immaculate. Hook up and fresh water tap was in close proximmity within our pitch. Excellent dishwashing facilities. The site is on the coast and gives a beautiful view over to the Isle of May. It is a 15 minute walk through Cellardyke, a small village, to Anstruther, where boat trips are available to the bird sanctuary on the Isle of May.
We'll definitely return.

Probably the best site we have stayed on. Fully serviced, level pitches with views across the Firth of Forth to the Isle of May and the East Lothian coast. We stayed in March and really appreciated the under floor heating in the immaculate toilet/shower! A great base for exploring the Fife coast and pubs/shops close by.

What a fantastic site, real value for money. Do not be put off by the price as it includes wifi which some sites charge quite a lot for and has facilities( water, waste electric) on every pitch. A really modern, clean, well run site with great views. The owner, a local farmer, is proud of what they have achieved building this site in 2011 and rightly so. We stayed 3 nights rather than one as it is a great location for coastal walks with a regular bus to St Andrews nearby. A model for how sites should be, just a pity it is so far away!

Nice location looking over the Forth and great fully serviced pitches. The toilet block is large, airy and clean. The local pub is 5 minutes walk away and Anstruther another 10 minutes along the road, where you have a choice of restaurants and pubs, the Scottish Fisheries museum and boat trips to the Isle of May.
My only gripe would be the number of people who think its acceptable to trample over your pitch, up close to your windows, on their way to the toilet block, depending where your pitch is. That's not the owner's fault of course.

Just returned from a 3 night visit. First time at this site and would definitely return.
Huge pitches. All fully serviced. Never seen that before.
Toilets are immaculate. Ladies had 4 loos. 2 sink cubicles and 4 showers. End one is huge and as the site was quiet I used that one everyday.
Loads of new trees planted etc and will be lovely grounds once it gets more established.
The Haven pub/restaurant is a 10 min walk along the road. Dog friendly. Ate in there on Sunday night. Lovely food. Not overly cheap but worth it.
15-20 walk into Anstruther which of course has it's famous chippy. If the queue is too long walk further along and the other one is just as nice :)
My only negative was the toilet cleaning times :
Ladies is 11-11:30. Gents is 11:30-12:00 which coincides with the time you need to be off your pitch (11:30) If you're like us and have a wee bit to travel everyone likes a last min toilet stop before leaving.
There was an easy access wheelchair friendly toilet but this was locked and needed a £5 deposit for the key. Luckily we just made it but worth knowing if you like to stop off before you head on your journey home.
Does have a small play park with swing, chute and climbing frame. Also have a games room with air hockey and pool table but was locked when we arrived. Didn't investigate it again this visit.
All in all a great wee quiet site.

We visited this site as a last minute decision and it is lovely. The toilets were pristine and the pitches and site absolutely in first class condition. The views are great - the site is new, so not many mature shrubs etc, but they have made a great effort and we will be back - also as an aside lots of great eating places in this part of the county

Having visited this site a few times since they opened last year we can highly recommend a visit. The lovely ladies Gwen and her daughter who run the site are so friendly and accommodating. The pitches are all sea facing and have wonderful views across to the May Island. With everything being brand new the facilities are second to none. Toilets and showers are kept immaculate with plenty hot water and roomy cubicles. They have underfloor heating too which is great for the colder weather.
Pitches are hard standing and are fully serviced. Electric, water and drains. Wifi is also included the price.
This site is perfect for visiting the East coast of Fife such a lovely area. We will definitely be visiting again.
