What a gem! We stayed on the CL which had views out towards reception. Staff were helpful and friendly. The site toilet block was warm and clean with the shower, toilet and sink all in the one room. We stayed 3 nights and it was nothing but tranquil. Nantwich and Audlem are a 10 minute drive away for your shopping needs.
The on site cafe is an added bonus. Will certainly be back.

A truly excellent site, we stayed on the touring site for 3 nights. The pitches are all hard standing and are fully serviced with lots of room between.
Facilities are modern and immaculate, they will spoil you for any other site.
Cafe on site is open from 9. 30 until 4. 00 and does good breakfasts with superb coffee, highly recommended.
As it is a marina the reception doubles as a chandlery but many of the consumables are relevant to motorhomers.
There is also car hire on site and at weekends a trip boat runs a regular service into Audlem.
Audlem is a pretty village within easy walking or cycling along the canal towpath.
A real gem of a site and excellent value for money, with the CL being even cheaper.

Just spent one night at this site. Really very impressed. Lovely spacious pitches. Shower block roomy and very clean. We took the Audlem Lass boat into Audlem (£1 each way to raise money for the RNLI) and walked back. It is a 30 minute delightful walk from the marina into Audlem along the Shropshire Union canal. It is worth noting that the site is quite isolatd and if you cannot walk well driving is a must to get to pub/restaurant/supermarket. We did not use the club house or try the cafe but it was busy and looked good. We ate dinner at The Lord Combermere and food was very nice and reasonably priced. They also serve a good pint of Shropshire Gold 👍. Will return to this site and heartily recommend

Came back to Overwater marina for the 4th time. Wanted to get on to the CL site but no spaces available. We got on to pitch 10 on the new part of their site.
The site will be a lot better when it matures in the future I am sure. At the moment the grassy areas are seeded and coming up, but the lack of the rain with the weather has possibly held it back a little? That aside. Our pitch was a large size for our truck of 25ft, The ground was really good to be on with a fully serviced set up too. All this for just £18!
Well worth every penny.
The fully fitted shower block and toilets was excellent. Being new though. I do wonder if it will stay this way?
On the two nights we stopped over, I went out and closed the main door various times because some folk did not seem to be able to remember how to do this?
Possibly a return lever to pull the door shut may help those folk who can open a door. But cannot close one!
What is it about leaving toilet paper on the floors too? It wouldn't take long to become a bin! What is it about some folk? Either use common sense and treat it like it belonged to you or. Stop at home! Why spoil it for the rest of us?
These people have made a really nice job of what will become a really lovely place to be, if only we use it properly.
We really look forward to coming again. Hopefully. Mature adults?
Just a thought. A pitch plan for booking would be good.
Can the wifi be extended to the pitches by the shower block? There seems to be a 'shadow' which prevents a connection that is useable? If you walk up the path out off the new site, you can then connect a tad better. I would have thought it Just needs boosting.
Sorry for the rant, but some folk really get my goat!

This is our third visit here. We love it. It is so peaceful whth the sounds of birds including pheasants and an owl this time. The hard standing is great but could be a little wider. With all the recent rain, going round the off side to empty water waste etc was very muddy on the grass. If you know there has been rain bring your wellies. As said before waste water is emptied in the hedge, picnic bench provided. Plenty of walks and the cafe is great. On Friday evening we had a Bistro in the cafe all pre-booked. The toilets are spotless and the wifi is free. This site is perfectly accessible including the coded lock on the toilet block at night. After all if a blind caravanner can do it. We love this site and will keep returning. They are opening a Touring Site adjacent to this CL with its own toilet and shower block with hook up and water provided to each pitch but no waste water emptying provided on each pitch. The price for the CL is currently £15 and the touring site is £18.

A very clean and spacious site, but check your route for approach, we came from Whitchurch and found the A525 was shut for resurfacing and this necessitated a detour down single track roads. It is much easier approached 0n the A525 from the east. The showers/toilets were spotless and had a night time keycode system, but I found the black waste wash hose needed taming as it had VERY good pressure! We were told to empty grey waste into the hedge bottom at the rear of the site, not so easy in a motorhome, but manageable(ish). Audlem was about a 30 minute walk, and had a good range of eateries and a Co-op for supplies. There was a small cafe on site during daytime and free wifi on site. In summary, a clean quiet site with hard standing pitches which I would use again if in the area.

Stayed for a weekend with caravan. First class peaceful site on a marina. Hard standing. Excellent facilities, free showers. TV signal was not perfect for us might have been the bad weather. Nothing for kids except for plenty of grass.
They have a cafe on site and a small boat that takes you into Audlem for a £1 plenty of walks along canal and around. Plenty of places to eat local. If you like easy to get to sites this is one, just come from nantwich. Audlem is a bit tight.
Will go again.
It's a cc cl site £14 per night with electric.

Great little site set in a narrow boat marina
Pitches are all hardstanding which a as near to perfect as you will get
All pitches come with its own picnic bench
The facilities are immaculate as you would expect from a caravan club CL site
You may need an ehu extension as there maybe 2 pitches which are over 20mtrs away from the ehu bollard
The site is in a great location approx 1. 5 miles into audlem and around 6 miles into nantwhich that's walking along the canal
Will be returning very soon
Well done overwater

A perfect site for a weekend away. A beautiful location by the canal and within easy walking distance of the lovely village of Audlem which has plenty to offer and some excellent pub meals to be had!
The toilet facilities are of Caravan Club site standard - clean, spacious and plenty of hot water.
We were very lucky to get a last-minute booking because of a late cancellation. I understand that it is advisable to book well in advance particularly if there is a special event on in nearby Audlem.

Excellent couple of days here. Very helpful staff & site well looked after, hard standing pitches with your own benches outside. Do take a long electric hook up cable though as the electric pods are quite a distance from the pitches. We walked around the marina & then along the towpath to 'The Shroppie Fly' public house, took us about half hour. Good food served here, great to sit outside with the dogs as you are right in the centre of The locks so quite interesting. Easy walk into the village shops if required.
We have already booked our next visit.
