Lovely clean site on side of Shropshire Canal beside Marina. As a guest you are allowed to walk round Marina. Approx 20 min walk into Audlem with shops and Pubs, all allowing dogs in!, you can walk the other way to Nantwich but will take considerably longer! Visit the Shroppie Fly in Audlem!
Nantwich town/Market Drayton/Crewe all are not far by car.
Site itself is easy access, big hardstandings, plenty of picnic area and tables, very clean warm facilities-loos and showers-that have 24 hour access. Very peaceful, lovely people, cafe, and interesting area.
I have rated it 10/10 on all but child friendliness 5/10 only because of the canal. But the pitches are not that near the Canal.

We had a nice weekend here - blessed with brilliant weather. The site itself is lovely and peaceful - but with always something interesting to look at in the Marina. The pitches are all hardstanding with loads of space between them - although you may need an extra long electric cable as some of the pitches are quite a distance away from the hook ups. The toilets and showers were very clean with free hot water and dryers. There is a large laundry room there as well. The only downside might be for those with children as there is a lot of open water. Our two dogs enjoyed the nice field where they could excercise off the lead - and also the wildlife that was laid on for their entertainment. The cafe served nice coffee - though was a bit expensive for anything other than a treat.
We enjoyed the water bus that runs between the Marina and Audlem - it is £1 - and the dogs were free! It runs from April - October and they are raising money for the RNLI. Pretty good for something that is such fun. We had lunch at the Shroppy Fly on Sunday - nice to be able to sit out by the canal - but the service was really slow - portions were huge though.
Nantwich is a nice town - interesting shops and we hit a time when there was a market. Lunch at the Bookshop Cafe was nice - we could sit outside with the dogs here too. The Dagfields Antique/craft centre was interesting - far too much to take in really so we will have to go back again!

This site is a small Caravan Club CL site and as we never stayed on a CL site before we did't know what to expect. All 5 pitches are hard standing and have quite a large grassed area to all three sides, the hard standing is quite a long pitch allowing for your car as well as your unit. The shop and cafe is very nice and the toilets and showers are accessed through here, at night you have a key code to use an alternative entrance.
You have 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 sinks all spotless and with loads of hot water for both male and female and a self contained disabled area. In the laundry room you have an industrial size washer and dryer and even an iron. The staff are brilliant and will do all hey can to help, all in all the site has a well deserved 10 out of 10.

Great site and location right next to the canal and 30 minute walk into Audley which has three nice pubs(two on the canal side). In the other direction is Nantwich which is a 6 mile walk down the canal, again a great town with plenty of facilities. We caught a bus back to Audley for the return which gave us a shorter return walk. Site is very clean and toilet/showers were cleaned each morning of our stay between 7:00 and 7:30, very modern and accessed via keypad in reception area. There is a cafe on site serving snacks for the boating/Camping community, very reasonable prices.
All in all very good value at £14 per night with hookup and hardstanding

One of the best CL's we have visited. There are 3 hardstandings as well as the grass pitches. We had a very warm welcome and where shown the toilets, shower, water etc. There are two toilets and showers(for each sex), which are the best I have seen on a CL and are kept immaculately clean.
There is a very large field adjacent for dog walking and it is possible to access the canal towpath via a farmers track. There is a coffee shop by the canal with inside and outside seating, coffee/tea and cake and watch the narrowboats passing by. There are no facilities for children to play on, but I understand they have a policy on admitting children to the site which they will gladly explain if contacted. Very friendly staff. We will definitely visit again

A lovely CL, peaceful, friendly people, excellent shower/toilet included in the price.
We had breakfast in the attached tea room, local ingredients well cooked and reasonably priced. It was great to have the option of eating out during the day right outside our van.
The site is very well thought out, areas of meadow for butterflies and small birds, short grass for pitching on, newly planted hedges which will add to the beauty of the place in years to come.
It was nice sharing the place with the boats, added interest on our strolls round.
An easy drive into Nantwich and easy enough to cycle down the lane to the secret bunker for an afternoon out.
I would thoroughly recommend staying here, you will need to book during summer weekends

Found a little gem here. Beautiful location with fantastic facilities. On arrival we were shown to our pitch and given a tour of the facilities. The showers are very spacious and immaculate, as is the washroom. There is a quaint tea room at the site and you can sit outdoors and just watch the canal boats go by while enjoying a cream tea. They are experimenting at the moment by producing a menu with what is on offer for that evening, you order and it is delivered to your door. Unfortunately we had enough supplies on board that we didn't try this service but we will know better next time.
The walk to Audlem from this site is as they state 20 minutes along the tow path of the Shropshire Union Canal. As we had arrived just in time for a music festival ( one of the many festivals held throughout the year in Audlem ) the canal was full of long boats, some selling their wares which made the walk even more pleasant and enjoyable.
We also took advantage of the 'Audlem Lass' boat trip when we ended up with too much shopping to carry back to the site and for £1 it is well worth it as all proceeds go to a good cause - the RNLI.
We have already booked our pitch for one of next years festivals and it probably wont be the last.
