A very nice small site about 9 pitches all have electric hook up if required. Good hardstandings & hardcore roadway for caravans or motorhomes. Plenty of grass for tents like us. No facilities/ playground for children. Close to the road but generally quiet. The owner Merv is very helpful.
Nice very clean modern facilities. WC, basin & shower for men and same for Ladies. Shower is coin operated 20p per min or £1 for 5.
Nearby pub is The Plough it's become a jazz pub/venue. Serves food & has a Sunday carvery. Food is Ok. You can walk there across the fields but be warned the cattle(hiefers & bullocks) can be tricky. So best to drive there. I would advise against walking down the road. It is narrow & traffic is fast.
Nearby is Acton Scott Farm museum well worth a visit. To the East, the pretty town of Much Wenlock- home of the modern olympic games, museum, Priory ruins, excellent pies from the butchers, Tea shops & shops. In the other direction is Church Stretton. Home to one of the biggest antique shops in the area, Pubs, restaurants, takeaways, tea shops and other shops. Medium sized Co-op supermarket.
Lots of good walks in the area including the Long Mynd, Caer Caradoc. Hope Bowdler Hill, Wenlock Edge.
The discovery centre in Craven Arms is good for local information with displays, a cafe, a Geocaching trail & walks. Many other geocaches nearby. Craven Arms also has a small privately run museum, a few shops including the Tuffins supermarket, takeaways & Pubs.

Just had a brilliant time here, despite damp weather for most of the week. Mervyn, the owner is friendly and helpful and the site is very clean and quiet, apart from noisy sheep!
Site has a loo/shower block, like new with a shower + loo each for men and women. We were the only tent so used it a lot but I guess caravanners might not so much. Our first ever camping trip with EHU (only taken us 27 years to 'give in'. )
What appealed to us was no playground, bars, etc just proper camping with the luxury of a loo and shower.
Will definitely return, thanks Merv.

All I can say is what an absolutely gorgeous site. Nice and small, with hard standing pitches for caravans and campervans. Lots of green space to the side and front of pitches.
Toilets (although only one male/female, where spotless and very modern, with lots off hot water and loo roll!
The owner Merv, is a very nice man, who keeps a nice site.
Lots of walks from the site, and a lovely local pub (The Plough) which is dog friendly, but the main road to it can be busy, with cars driving quite fast along it, but there are side roads that lead you around too.
Highly recommended for a peaceful break to relax. Might not be enough to keep children occupied though, but just right for a weekend getaway.

What a cracking site.
Facilities ideal for the size of the site, well marked out pitches and easy to find. Friendly owner. First time on this site and will definitely return.
Lovely views from the site. Went over Wenlock Edge to Much Wenlock - lovely town, and ate at the George and Dragon - another find. Good spot for dogs.

This is a real gem of a site. Quiet, clean and well laid out with the bonus of water taps on each pitch. We received a very friendly welcome from the owners on arrival. Access is easy but secured with a gate. The small toilet and shower facilities are spotlessly clean. Showers 20p a minute.
The tv reception was excellent. Phone signal for us was a little intermittent but could send and receive texts no problem. The pitches are all hardstandings but bring a chock to ensure your caravans not tilting.
Over all a superb quiet site with views to die for. Church Stretton and Much Wenlock only ten minutes drive either way. Will certainly return.

What a lovely site this is and in a beautiful location with outstanding views.
All the pitches are full service pitches and for £12 per night on a BH weekend I feel is very good value. The toilet and shower facilities are kept spotless. There is only one toilet and shower each for both men and women but this did not cause a problem for the size of the campsite. You do have to pay for the showers which is 20p per minute.
The owner is very friendly and helpful.
There are some very good walks from the site as long or as short as you like. Church Stretton is about 3 mile from the site which has plenty of shops, places to eat and a supermarket. We also walked to Cardington about 2. 5 miles this is a lovely village with 1 pub and serves very nice food.
Will definitely be returning.

An absolute gem with views to die for, the site is well kept and nicely laid out, all the pitches are fully serviced and the toilet block was always found clean and tidy. The owner was very helpful and had good knowledge of the area Church Stretton itself was only a 10 minute drive away and had all the amenities that are required to enhance the break at this wonderful site. Will certainly be going back again.
