Just got back from this delightful site. Was absolutely amazing. Owner Paul greeted us on arrival and what a lovely man he is too. He is very knowledgeable about the area and recommended many places to visit.
The site feels very spacious and the shower/toilet block is very modern and extremely clean. There's a pub about 10 mins walk away but unfortunately they don't allow dogs in.
About a mile away is a large Co-op with a nearby fish and chip shop and also a Chinese takeaway. Tenby is just 5 miles away and Saundersfoot Harbour (our favourite) is only 2 miles away.
There are countless number of beautiful, dog friendly beaches just short drives away. We were bowled away with this area and caravan site so will 100% be back for a return visit.

Spending 4 nights at this wonderful peaceful site. The facilities are first class and spotless. Pitches level with hard standing and grass area.
What makes the site so perfect is the hosts, they really can’t do enough for you and always on hand to suggest places to visit (even providing lifts), answer any questions or just a smile and ‘morning’.
Can’t recommend this site enough and will definitely return to explore Pembrokeshire further.

Nice Welcome,
Set over 2 levels the site has been developed to capitalise on every Sq foot which is a shame. Limited lawns and the upper level is located next to a very busy main road which dose attract traffic noise.
The site has very basic hard standing pitches with most of them being uneven. No super pitches available that I could see although we did have a TV point which was good as we could not pick up a signal.
A recently new constructed toilet facility with only 2 Men’s toilets which could at peak times leave you waiting and free showers.
I was located next to a seasonal pitch for my stay who recommend the pub at the top of the road for food and booked a table for us for Sunday dinner as they had the telephone number.
In my opinion !
The site is under development
And is more suited to nightly motorhome stopovers than a caravan holiday park at £25+ per night I was expecting more based on my previous caravan adventures.
Please note my stay was in August.
Would definitely return if I changed to a motorhome but wish the nice family all the best with the site.

Stayed one night last week at this beautiful, well kept campsite.
The facilities were spotless whatever time of day I used them and the owners, Paul, Wendy, Lorraine and Tony were excellent hosts, couldn't do enough for me as a solo traveller and really made me feel welcome.
Will definitely recommend and will return soon and for longer next time.

An absolute gem of a campsite. Spacious pitches and the shower and toilet facilities were spotless and very modern. I particularly liked that you didn't have to keep pressing a button for water in the shower.
The owners are very friendly and welcoming, they even offered to mind our pooch if we wanted to visit anywhere not dog friendly - we never do, if she isn't welcome then we don't go!
There is some road noise but didn't bother us. Very reasonably priced too.

Have just returned from a short break at The Buttles with my 6 year old granddaughter. Site was very easy to access with no country lanes to negotiate. It did back on to the main road so there was some traffic noise but it didn’t concern me.
My husband had taken me down so when he left I was without a car. However, there was a bus stop about 10 mins walk which had an hourly service to Folly Farm and beyond one way and Saundersfoot and Tenby the other. Realising I was without transport the staff at the park were at pains to make sure if I needed a lift anywhere I need only ask.
There was also offers of help with emptying caravan loo etc, which I didn’t actually take them up on but it was nice to know if I had a problem they were on hand. I did run out of gas and had no idea how to swap gas canisters but staff were on hand and did the job for me, for which I was very grateful.
The shower block was spotlessly clean and modern. All in all, a lovely place to stay within easy reach of lots of lovely places with or without your own transport, and very friendly staff and fellow campers. The only reason for 7/10 for child friendliness on ratings is that there is no play area etc but there was plenty of room for my granddaughter to play on the grass area allotted to our pitch.

Terrific site for use as a touring base. Handily placed for Tenby and Narberth (and the road to Pembroke and St Davids).
Probably the easiest access site you will find anywhere.
Site is quirkily built around the old main road, by-passed many years ago. So yes, you will get some road noise, but it didn't affect us or our sleep! The owners are slowly upgrading the site. Initially with a new toilet block (only one washing up sink) including washing machine and dryer and upgrading their own accommodation too.
I can confidently say you will not meet a more friendly or approachable set of owners anywhere.
There is a BIG Co-op in Kilgetty no more than two minutes drive away.
Local pub the Begelly Arms wasn't up to much. If you want good food go to Narberth which is placing itself as a foodie town.
One bonus after a thirsty trip was the Shell Station around the corner having Diesel at £1. 30 a litre. We didn't see it priced below £1. 35 anywhere else (its £1. 37 in Cheshire).
This was our first visit to Pembrokeshire. We shall return, and we will stay here again.

Had a very relaxing pleasant seven night stay here on a hard standing pitch.
The new shower /toilet block was a pleasure to use and Paul the owner made you feel very welcome and had a wealth of local knowledge which was very helpful.
The site is in a perfect location for visiting the gorgeous coastline. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic honest returned our call after telling us they were fully booked for the bank holiday weekend.
The lady that called back said we can fit you in on a small corner plot (I've been on much smaller not so pretty spots) she was at great lengths to explain the not so good points.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed, the park is obviously a work in progress and what a great job so far.
All the facilities were very good and spotlessly clean.
This is a family run campsite that's going places.
Thank you all so much.
Jim & Linda Redmond
