We stayed at the sit for 8 nights, the site is small with 12 pitches and are a good size. Paul the owne is just so helpful he could not do enough for us. The site is on the old main road and is at the end of the road. ( Dead end ).
There are 2 toilets and one shower, and are kept very clean. There is a pub at the bottom of the road which serves great food and a large CO-OP less than a mile away.
This site is in a great location for visiting all the attractions in the surrounding areas.
Thank you for a great stay, and we will see you again.

What a find. We have just returned from 3 night stay at the Buttles caravan park. It is a small site of only 12 large hard standing pitches, but that is also part of the charm. There is only 1 male and one female toilet and 1 shower room located in a lovely little log sort of cabin, but this never caused a problem. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. There is a designated BBQ area (large BBQ provided) with a nice seating area.
The location is great, close enough to all the attractions without seeming too busy. The Begelly Arms is a short stroll down the road and provide great, well priced food. Co-Op is only a couple of minutes drive from the site. Tenby, Oakwood and Bluestone are about a 15 minute drive away, making it and ideal location for young families.
We took two young children (4 & 8) who were happy playing games on the lovely grass areas. There were some sited caravans here with very friendly people staying there.
The owner is lovely and very helpful, taking fantastic care of his site. We will definitely be returning.

We have just returned from a week at The Buttles Caravan Park.
As described it is a small (12 units) site, which suits us down to the ground. The site is well maintained and a lovely place to stay. There is one male and one female toilet, the shower is free, these are located in a log cabin near to the pitches and are kept incredibly clean and tidy at all times.
The grounds are garden like and the pitches are all hardstanding with plenty of grass between each, we didn't feel we were on top of our neighbours (except the robin who visited daily!) and the bbq and seating area was a nice touch.
The site is well situated for visiting Pembrokeshire and we would definitely recommend it (and revisit)

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at The Buttles Caravan Park.
This is one of the most friendly caravan sites we have stayed at. The site owner was more than helpful and was available at all times during the day and evening. The other people staying on the site were also friendly and helpful.
It is a great site.
The site itself is basic, but in a quaint and pleasant sort of fashion.
There was one toilet block consisting of 1 male and 1 female toilet and 1 shower. Although basic, it was never dirty or disheveled or lacking in the basic necessities. The shower was free and lovely and warm, but never scalding hot, so kiddies would be safe to use it.
The site itself consists of three rows, the first has a row of hard standings accessed directly from what used to be the main road, but this is now disused and safely partitioned off from the access road. The bays leading off this road and are all hard standing. A further two rows of hard standing are accessed off this road in a small field behind. All pitches had electric hook ups and there was an Elsan point just off the camp site road.
The local pub was 10 minutes walk away and served good portions of delicious food at a reasonable cost.
There is a medium sized Co-op and an excellent Chippy in the village about 5. 0 minutes drive away.
Tenby was about 15 minutes drive away, likewise Saundersfoot.
Manorbier was roughly the same. We like castles so it was great for us. There are also some amazing beaches too.
This site is really easy to get to. We did not have to navigate any single track roads. Tip: If you are coming from the Midlands use The Heads of the Valley road A465. We came down another route and were stuck on the M4 for hours, but on the way back we used the A465. Not only is it a beautiful road but it saved us one and a half hours!
This site is a great base to see Pembrokeshire from. There is no kids playground, but less than 5 minutes away there is a place called Folly Farm that our neighbors used and they said it was great. There was a little road noise that reduced greatly at night, but I expect that is a small price to pay for such easy access. Views were limited to tree lined access road.

We are regular visitors to this site and have spent many a happy time there. It is a lovely quiet place and you can visit many country places from here, or if you want them, there lovely beaches on your doorstep. There is a family atmosphere and the other campers are all very friendly and all try to help each other. I would reccomend this place to every one that was looking for a friendly time and we certainly have done and will be using this site many a time again.

Had week off so spent it in sunny pembs, even if it was March! Great site on a quiet location, though easy distance to the best bits of south pembs, including gorgeous Tenby. Camp site had great facilities and close to a pub, which was great for me and the wife. Walking distance from a shop too. Had a great holiday there, highly recommended!

A very well kept secret. We were looking for a site that was far enough away from the crowds yet close enough to the action. This site hit the mark. Five minutes drive to the supermarket. Five minutes drive to a fabulous bakery. A ten minute flat walk on a safe road to the local pub which also serves great food. The beautiful seaside resorts of Saundersfoot (15 mins by car) and Tenby (20 mins by car) are easily accessible. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy - nothing to rave about but did the job. It is probably the location that is the major feature of this small but friendly site. We were able to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, Carew and Pembroke Castles as well as the unique Narberth town with its' quaint shops. As there are no particular facilities on site for children, I don't think this is a site suited to young families needing lots of entertainment. At this price it is hard to find fault - especially as I hear Cornwall are charging £40 per night. Hope to return often as so many others do too.
