Restful rural retreat. This small site has just four hard standing pitches, each secluded by hedging.
The toilet and shower facilities are excellent and were cleaned regularly.
There's plenty of walks from the site, some across country or there's some nice quiet lane's which we took as my husband uses a mobility scooter. We found our way into the village.
It has a well stocked shop, a nice pub that does food and also a Thai restaurant.
The site owner's are welcoming and on hand if you need assistance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to be back later in the year. Thank you for having us.

This site is an absolute treasure. It’s small in that it only accommodates 4 but there is plenty of room in each pitch with its own enclosure giving privacy.
The facilities are spotless and in these Covid times just what you need. We were lucky to be there with only one other van so we each had a toilet and shower but regardless they were cleaned regularly. Shower had lots of hot water.
There is chemical and grey waste disposal and fresh water. A great location for cycling, walking ( we walked up to Wyche Cutting which was lovely) or just chilling (we are not fishermen so didn’t use the ponds but they looked lovely).
It’s a 30 min walk to the village that has a hotel, Thai restaurant, coffee house, local shop and butcher. Can’t wait to go back.
Please note if you like an overly manicured site where every blade of grass is standing to attention don’t come here, but if you want to be somewhere with peace and quiet, in the countryside, with little light pollution, where you can chill then this is for you.
Patricia was helpful and available if needed and really looks after her site well.

Delightful and peaceful little site with excellent shower facilities. Lack of hot water in kitchen sink was easily overcome by using jug to get hot water from other sinks.
The pitches have been left in a very natural state and are all very private. The owner was very helpful and anxious that we had all we needed.
Would recommend for a relaxing, away from it all break.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you want peace and quiet, surrounded by outstanding natural beauty.
There were two of us with our two dogs staying in a twin axel caravan with an awning.
There are lots of lovely footpaths to choose from and the village of Colwell is very close by.

Wonderful peaceful site. Only 4 units but 3 toilets and 2 large showers which were kept very clean.
Good area for walking, no need to use the car everyday as you could walk from the site. Good cycling country - if hilly!
Friendly and helpful owners.

Fabulous little campsite in the heart of the Malverns, never stayed somewhere so peaceful. Only 4 pitches which means the 3 toilet/2 shower block is ample facilities and Patricia keeps everything immaculate. Also very carefully considerate of Covid-19 additional cleanliness.
There is a short walk across fields to the village (post office, shop, cafes, garden centre with lovely garden, large hotel with restaurant and a great Thai restaurant).
Bird song was amazing, dark skies for star gazing and we heard owls every night.

Can not believe the previous reviews for this site. The pictures on the web site do not represent the overgrown untidy and unkempt area of the campsite. We only stayed 2 days due to this. Patricia did refund us for the other days. I am sure at one point this site was must have been very good sadly not now.
This said the toilets and showers were very good.

Pitches were very nice and private. Lovely and quiet.
Fishing lake was very disappointing, very weedy, and felt quite neglected.
Would be really nice if some improvements were made.

Amazing little site.
This is our second time here at the Fishponds. We really enjoyed our time again here.
We were met by Mark and Patricia. We were on pitch 2 this time and it was huge with its own ‘secret’ pathway to the fishing pools.
The shower and toilet block was spotless and Patricia cleaned it at least 3 times everyday. The site is lovely, quiet and very relaxing.
My husband fished the pool and we went for a wander up to and past the church. We were surrounded by stunning views of the countryside and the Malvern hills.
We were made to feel very welcome and we were remembered by Mark and Patricia from 2 years ago.
We would highly recommend this site and will be back soon.
