Just got back from a 3 day break at Rowan Park. Seems to have been a change in staff since May when I last visited? Still very clean, very level and very close to Bognor itself making it ideal for those who want to visit everything. Handy tip - if you want to take the children to the pool and they are nagging you for Butlins (£15 per adult and £7.00 per child and £6.50 per day parking for a day pass! Say no more) then we found Arun Leisure Centre just 1 minute past Butlins towards Littlehampton which has 2 pools and flumes for the kids at £3.10 all day! I enjoy the site but I still can confirm that unfortunately Farmer Giles has not switched off the bird / rabbit scarer which shoots like a shotgun from 7am in the morning for about an hour and at intervals throughout the day and the boy racers returned every night! But what can the Caravan Club do?

Toilet block clean and tidy, and shops very close by. However, noise from road was intrusive and the shops are a little too close - ie large Matalan, Halfords and Kentucky Fried Chicken (to name a few) are opposite the entrance to the site. During our stay Boy Racers used the car park to the shops on a nightly basis to race each other, and perform 'donuts' at high speed.
We did find that the site was very busy at weekends, but the toilet blocks were still nice and clean. We like to holiday away from it all, and unfortunately for us Rowan Park was in the thick of it so will not be revisiting. However, lots of people do find its close proximity to the shops and Bognor a real treat so don't let us put you off.

It was our first time camping, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The campsite was very clean and tidy. The toilet and showers were very clean, would stay there again. There was restaurants and supermarkets near by. Not too far away just 10 minutes away from the coast.

Just got back from our third visit to the site and its as good as ever. A tip when staying at this site is to go to West Wittering for a large sandy beach, parking costs £6 at the weekend but that's a small price to pay to keep the kids happy all day. Remember to take a packed lunch or even BBQ (lots do) and enjoy the sand between your toes. The beach at Bognor is pebbly so this is much nicer.

This is a lovely site, situated within just 2 miles from Bognor Regis, with a good cycle route into the town. We were not particularly impressed by Bognor itself, but there is a very large Butlins and the site is a good spot to explore other very nice seaside places such as Climping and Littlehampton.
The site is a very nice size. Not too large (100 pitches) and the plots are very generous and well spaced, on level ground, with good lighting, water, electricity and TV hook ups. There is a very adequate and well equipped children’s play area and a good dog walking area.
The facilities are superb. Very clean and up to the usual standards that you would expect from a Caravan Club site. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The shower block is definitely the best and cleanest that we have experienced to date, although I must confess that I did not appreciate being reprimanded one morning by one of the wardens for still being in the shower at 10:30 am when they start cleaning the shower block!
Unfortunately the site is situated right alongside the A29. Other people have mentioned noise from road, so we took their advice and asked to park on the extreme left hand side of the site away from the road, but we still found the road noise audible and intrusive. Also, there were no gravel pitches available so we had to park on a grass pitch which was lovely, and would not have been a problem, were it not for the fact that it rained continually for the 4 nights that we were there and the mud became ankle deep!
The site is also located opposite a small retail park with a fast food restaurant, national supermarket, and a Halfords, which was very useful and convenient. Unfortunately, 'Boy racers' tend to occupy the superstore car parks at night with their car stereos blasting away and racing up and down that stretch of the A29, which we found very irritating indeed!
Also, unfortunately whilst we were staying there, there was a series of explosions going off every few minutes in the adjacent field from about 7.30am until about 8.00PM every day! I don’t know if this is a regular occurrence or whether we were just unlucky. We believe that this may have been a device used by the local farmer to discourage rabbits. It didn’t seem to bother the rabbits, but it certainly discouraged us!
What with the noise from the road and the car radios, the reprimand in the shower block, the continual explosions, the rain and the mud, it felt rather like we were camping in a war zone!

An excellent site with clean, superb facilities that you would expect from a Caravan Club site. Toilet/shower block the cleanest I have experienced to date and have stayed at the site 3 times and on all occasions the same was experienced. Site flat with a small but perfectly adequate play area for kids and an absolutely fab dog walk just along side the site where you can walk your beast off the lead without any qualms at all. Others have mentioned noise from road - if you park on the left hand side as you enter then we havent found road noise an issue at all. The site is located opposite a small retail area - dont let this put you off - rather this is excellent for a spot of lunch (fast food restaurant located there), food shopping (national supermarket) and also for forgotten camping gear as Halfords is just opposite! Bognor not far - can be cycled for the healthy and fit amongst us or local bus route stops just around the corner. Didnt find an awful lot to do in Bognor but for relaxing break this park is excellent. Well done Rowan Park

Stayed here for the very wet May bank holiday weekend. Lovely site and pitches well space - some with hedging to give you nice privacy. Helpful wardens. Toilets immaculate and all the usual high standards of a Caravan Club. 24 hr Tescos nearby and every superstore you can think of on your doorstep. Only gripe was how close to A29 as road noise was audible even though our pitch was furthest away. Didn't think that something like that could bother me but it did. Also loads of superstores around and didn't feel comfortable with the 'boy racers' who would occupy the superstore car parks at night. Even though site was lovely itself, not very keen on Bognor Regis - maybe it was the bad weather

August 2005 We chose this site simply because we didnt want to travel too far for a long weekend. The only downside to the site is the proximity to a main road but that said it wouldnt put us off visiting again.
The site was very clean and the toilet/wash block was exceptional, clean bright and spacious. The hookups include TV feeds. Our childeren loved the open space and the play equipment and were soon running around with other childeren. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Bognor is only a short drive away and parking there was easy. If the weather is bad there is a Butlins near the coast which offers day entry although we didnt use this.
We will definitely visit this site again.

July 2005 For our first time camping, this was a brilliant site. Campsite fairly small (100 pitches) so really friendly. The pitches were well laid out and had plenty of space between them. Showers, laundry and washing up area were all spotless and really new. There is a 24 hour supermarket about half a mile up the road and the beach only 2 miles away. Worth mentioning is the road noise, however we found this did little to detract from a superb campsite!

Aug 2004 A good site, very nice loos & shower block, we have a fairly big trailer tent, the wardens were very friendly and helpful, and found us a large pitch. On the downside, the site is VERY close to the main road and there is a certain amount of road noise.
