We spent a couple of days at this site as it's only down the road from us. We were pleasantly surprised!
An adults only site which was very quiet and peaceful despite being next to Leeds Bradford Airport! £7.50 per person per night (for our large tent and canopy so would be cheaper for a smaller tent) and the showers were free. Facilities were spotless - plenty of loos, sinks, showers and even a bath! In the same building was the wash up point which was basic but clean. The chemical point was also very clean the whole time we were there.
A very friendly site - at one end there are a number of caravans which are lived in all of the time and the residents always stopped to say hello. There is also a small launderette and the site office by the entrance to the site. The owner Paul was very helpful and if not in the office, you could contact him by phone.
At the other end of the site were the pitches for motorhomes, tourers and tents - our pitch was massive!
Lovely walks around the site - all enclosed and safe for walking dogs. A little farm shop over the road next to the fishing ponds. Plenty of things to see and do in Leeds and the surrounding countryside.
All in all, a fab little site and even though it's on the street where we live, we will be going again!

Site was perfect! amazing showers and clean toilets. Flat ground and lots of space. No where near anything and no real shop on site. Couldn't walk to Leeds so had to walk across a field ( footpath) and get a bus. Good contrast being in Leeds city centre and then in the rural site.
Owner very relaxed and charming.

We have just got back from this campsite and it is one of the best we have been to. It is so quiet and no children just lots of dogs. We had a tent and friends had a caravan, both of us on EHU. The price is very good. The toilets are spotless in fact not a bad thing to say about it. There is no shop but the office sells eggs and there is a farm shop just up the road a short walk. The owners very frienly and helpful. There is a wonderful dog walk that goes all round the site where you can walk your dogs off lead, the ducks come quite close in the morning looking for titbits. We will be going again that is for sure. A short drive away is a village with pubs if wanted and a take away which was very good.

Nice quiet site with a woodland walk which is perfect for walking the dog, we live in the local area and visited to try out our new caravan. We have visited this site many years ago but until now did not realise how nice and peaceful it is, even being close to the airport, the occasional aircraft noise did not spoil it in anyway. There is a supermarket a couple of minutes away by car for provisions etc. The toilet block is very clean and modern with free showers and even has a bath!, grey squirrels + owls were amongst the wildlife we saw when we visited. The site is located in a rural area surrounded by fields but is very sheltered due to its superb woodland setting, we will be visiting this site again very soon and would recommend it to anyone.

We rang up numerous campsite to try and get three tents booked in. All campsites seemed to be booked up for the bank holiday weekend tried this campsite at the last minute very pleased with the choice. The site was not full and the toilets and showers were great even had a bath. Even though the airport was near it did not worry us at all the site was very quite, adults only, that might have had something to do with the quietness. We would certainly recommend this site.

We've stayed at this site a few times now. Cos it's local to us, we sometimes stay for the week and go to work from there. It's a lovely site, well spaced out pitches and very clean facilities. Showers are free and lots of hot water - they've even got a bath too. It's in a lovely area and it's very peaceful - especially considering it's next door to the airport! When we first started going they allowed children, then they made it adult only - even better for me cos they did it just as my youngest decided she didn't want to come with us anymore! Can't remember the prices, but I know it's very reasonable. Had my 40th birthday meet here - pics on the gallery - july 2005.

Last minute trip, arrived late but made very welcome. Lovely quiet site(no kids!) Facilities spot on and very clean(and free showers!) Set in a beautiful scenic area, woodland walks, drifted off to sleep listening to nothing but owls hooting. Only had one night there, wish we'd have had longer to explore. Would definitely go again and hopefully soon! If you're after peace n quiet this is the place for you.

We thought this was a good, well looked after site. Only a small area for tents though. Mostly non-mobile(!) mobile homes. There's a farm shop over the road for eggs etc. Plenty of things to do in Leeds in the case of wet weather!

Lovely site surrounded by woodland. With tourers and mobile homes on site. Clean heated toilet blocks with free showers and permanent hot water. The main road round the site is illuminated during the night. On our last visit after heavy rain got car bogged down, but owner kindly pulled car out with no fuss.
We put up bird feeders and got numerous birds including woodpecker, jay and squirrels to visit. Also saw a fox walk out of the woods. Will definitely visit again. Leeds Bradford Airport a few minutes drive away, handy for those wanting to do a bit of plane watching. Highly recommended.

What a lovely (Clean) site , we went there for the first time to Billies birthday Bash , we only live 20 minutes from the place, if we ever just fancy going away on the spur of the moment we just go up to St. Helenas 10 quid per night with hook - up ! great stuff. When you drive down the long driveway it's like being on one of your main holidays , if that makes any sense
