On entry you could be forgiven for wondering what you'd booked, the entrance is through a ramshackle farm yard, and the you enter the camping area, and it's lovely. You can either have views over open farmland, or woodland.
It's a fairly relaxed site and Odell the owner is friendly and helpful. A pleasant 20 walk around the farmland on a track from the site will bring you into the village and its pub which is worth a visit.
Only used the wetroom showers and they were always hot and powerful. The location is excellent for visting some of the many medieval villages in the area, such as Lavenham and Clare, and there are amazing country walks all over.
Overall we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

Not the first time we’ve stayed here and won’t be the last. Very relaxed site, Odell is very accommodating.
It was lovely to see all the family groups enjoying a bit of freedom after lockdown.

What a great site, owner Odell is delightful and really helpful. It's really casual setup and plenty of space to create your own little camp in any of the fields and nooks.
The facilities are good if a little basic but you are not paying for the Ritz. Wet rooms had hot showers just don't forget to buy your tokens.
Plenty of water points and electric hook ups. Will be booking again as had many of the other campers who had visited the site on multiple occasions.
Nowton Park is not far away with Bury St Ed within easy driving distance so plenty to do nearby.
A great break away at this relaxing site in lovely countryside setting at a great price, 7th night was free!

Odell is a brilliant host very friendly and helpful. He has created fantastic well maintained walks from the site.
A site we will we visit again.
The only criticism was that the waste area and recycling could be improved and fenced in.

Loved this campsite, the owner is so helpful and friendly, he wanders about the campsite regularly to check everyone is ok.
The scenery is spectacular, surrounded by fields. It is a working farm so you do hear the machinery but that is part of the experience.
The owner has created a 2 mile track around his fields which is away from the road, apart from leaving and returning to site, so it’s very safe for children walking or on bikes, another 1 mile track around other parts of the farm completely away from the road so again safe for children and a 3rd track leading to the village and the local pub.
We enjoyed it so much we extended our planned 5 night trip to 9 nights!
Plenty of villages and places to visit nearby, will definitely be visiting again.
Highly recommended, very safe for children.
