A really lovely site with great views. Very friendly owners, toilets etc. Spotless. Very reasonably priced, only £10 per night for caravan and awning, two adults and dog! People staying in seasonal caravans also very friendly and helpful. Lovely area, Parys Mountain and Amlwch Port well worth a visit. Thoroughly recommend this site.

St returned from a brilliant sun baked week camping at Point Lynas. The owners are really friendly, helpful and welcoming The place is absolutely spotless, separate field with electric hookups for campers. Lovely views out to sea and the lighthouse at the point. We toured the whole of Angelsey from here,- its tucked out of the way (see directions in the last review)- but definitely worth visiting. Brilliant facilities, good showers, freezer etc…The information sheet on places to visit and things to do on the island is very useful - it’s a brilliant place. Catch mackerel and Pollack from the rocks at freshwater bay 10 mins walk from the site up by the lighthouse. Swim in the rocky bay at the bottom of the road or try other fantastic beaches particulary porth dafarch near treadur bay after a trip to Holyhead( about ½ hour away), and the south stack lighthouse (a must see on Angelsey particularly for the Puffins and sea bird colonies).Good pint of Guinness to be had, and good food at The Bull bay hotel 10 mins by car .Excellent local food and service at Lastra farm. Cemlyn is a good visit- Tern seabird colony & local honey at Nanner farm. Beaumaris is also a good day out - fishing trips and good restaurants can recommend the Neptune .We can definitely recommend this site and Angelsey , cant wait to go back.

This was a fabulous site with top class service from the staff and excellent facilities. The limited number of tents means it is a quiet and peaceful place. Use it as a base to visit the North region of Wales as everything is within driving distance and the roads are straightforward to navigate. Not so the campsite, remember to turn right at the Lawnmower place (I think it was anyway :-) ) or you'll end up in Amlwch. Here is your chip shop and supplies can be obtained from the store (both very friendly so support that local economy). Print off a detailed map of the area around the site like I did and you'll get straight there no bother. The lighthouse on the point is worth a walk in nice weather, park at the entrance and don't block the road. The coastal walk the other way is fine, cliffs and sea for miles, don't try to cut back across the farm land to the campsite its a waste of time there is no entrance, so its back to the harbour where you probably came in. Hope you enjoy your stay here as much as I did, Happy camping, Chris

June 2005 A very tidy and well run site, friendly owners good facilities A location best suited to the peace n quiet lovers quite a drive to civilisation. Close by is a nice secluded bay with good views though it has to be said local shops and hostelries could be better.
