Just got back from 3 nights at this site and had to send a review to say how much I enjoyed it! Lovely lady and husband who run the site, made you really welcome!lovely setting with gorgeous sunsets and overall a peaceful location! Toilets and shower were small but never had to queue and they were spotless! If you want a chilled holiday then this is perfect! Ideal for people with kayaks and windsurfers!

On arrival to this site which was quite late at night 8. 15pm. I was booked in. Charged an extra £1 per night because we had a trailer (never been charged this ever before anywhere) then the lady proceeded to follow me out to the car and peer through the windows at my partner and children to see who was in the car! Still setting up just before 10 and the man of the site came and told me he thought it was time we were quite now as my dog was yapping. I'd only opened the boot for 2 mins!
Toilets and showers are tiny, if you've got a young child like us that you have to go into toilet with then good luck on that one there isn't anywhere near enough space.
They do recycling which is good but the fact the man seems to watch you do it is very annoying.
The very small path to the inland sea is overgrown. The gate isn't wide enough to fit boats or kayaks to. You have to lift them up and carry them.
There's nowhere for the kids to play so they played football in middle of field. They are very young children so don't play rough or scream and shout but the people in the sited caravans I don't think like children much as they did nothing but moan!
All in all a disappointing non child friendly campsite, we won't be visiting again, would prefer to pay the higher prices at blackthorn farm!

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend away at this site. We got a very warm welcome from the owners even though we where 1. 5 hours late. The site is ideal for exploring Anglesey, with plenty to do close by. Visited windmill which was recommendation of site owners. The facilities where great and although only 1 shower for each sex never had to queue. Only facility I would have like to have seen was hot water at washing up area.
Toilet block was spotless and the field well maintained. This is definitely a site I would recommend to both families and couples as there is plenty of space away from units to play and great to have the coastal path next to site. It is a very quite site, which we always like.
Again I cannot sing praises enough of site owners they cannot do enough for you and are always at hand.

Lovely site and excellent value for money. Amenities were spotless. Showers take 20 pences or pound coins. For anyone washing their hair I would recommend pound coins.
The owner was very helpful with plenty of advice on where to visit and the best places to eat.
Beautiful spot right on the inland sea with great sunset views.
Plenty of places to visit and we all loved watching the jets come and go at RAF Valley.

Just come back from a 5 night stay at this lovely campsite. Highly recommend it for being very well maintained. Large field well mowed. Spotless toilets and shower (20p a minute). The site has great views and a gate takes you onto the Angelsey coastal path along the sea inlet. 2 minute drive to trearddur bay. 5 mins to Holyhead. Ideal position to explore this side of the island. Had a great time here and a very warm welcome from the owners for myself and 2 dogs.

This was our first visit to this site and we found it ticked nearly all of the boxes. The missing boxes? It would have been nice to have hot water in the pot wash, and a laundry. So we used the hot water in the van for pot washing and Joyce done hand washing in the van and used a 'hangy out' to dry our bits. Problem solved.
Positively, this site had access to the inland sea, so if you come bring a canoe! We found the site very central for all our visiting needs and of course the owners were really friendly and very accommodating. We had booked a pitch with an awning, but decided not to use it and the owner was fine about this and deducted the cost immediately. Very peaceful, and waking up with 3 Choughs and 2 Back tailed Godwits looking in through our front window. Need we say more?
Of course we will return.

We have frequented this site many times over the last 35 years and had fantastic family holidays with our touring van here. We have recently revisited, just the two of us, with a tent and enjoyed the whole experience. The site is excellently well maintained with well mown field, pristine toilet and showers at all times. The owners are extremely friendly and offer advice on local amenities etc. Beaches, shops and eateries are all within easy reach of the site. The site is suitable for both young and old with ample space for children to play, safely. The adjacent inland sea offers safe water sports such as windsurfing, canoeing etc. The site offers fantastic value for money and we will no doubt return.

Ok, just returned from 2 fantastic nights camping at this family run campsite. I spent a day searching for a good campsite with good reviews and this little gem took my liking.
1 large field with about 30 pitches around a very large open area great for football or kite flying. The toilets although small (2 sinks, 2 toilets and 1 shower per sex are absolutely impeccable. They must get cleaned continually through the day and the owners take as much pride in them as they have in restoring their beautiful 19 century farm house. The lady who owns the site even have me a full guided tour of all the restoration work she has had done to her parents house! Yes it's small but located right next to the inland sea it's a perfect location with the Beaty of Holy Island within walking distance. We even got Pizzas delivered for our second night. If you are early risers (7 am with our 2) you will have full use of the showering facilities. My wife only had to wait 5 mins only the first morning to enjoy a piping hot shower for just £1. We arrived on a Thursday and had spare pitches to both sides, by the the time we left on Saturday they were full both sides but we still didn't feel that penned in especially with the BIG open area in the middle of the field for the kids to play in.
Pitches with hook up are obviously more popular but still at just £16 a night this is tremendous value. Would and will return again. Read the other reviews as they are all spot on

What a lovely little site in a great location! This was ideal for our Jubilee weekend of celebrations! Really close to the sea, but close to pubs and the local spar for last minute supplies.
Quite hilly but plenty of sufficient flat areas.
Lovely and clean. Spotless toilets recently modernised with adequate hot water showers on coin-slot operated meter.
Owners are lovely and friendly!
The only downside is that the pot-wash area did not have a hot water supply but then when you are camping you make do and boil a kettle! So only a very minor negative! Otherwise lovely!

Visited again and this site just gets better, investment over the winter in new toilets, showers and kitchen area.
The approach to the site is easy with access from the main road out of valley towards treaddur bay.
From the site it is an easy walk to The Anchorage hotel where they serve bar snacks and main meals.
The site itself is in the main level with a good number of sites with electric hook up.
There are waste disposal facilities for chemical toilets.
If you enjoy walking then the site backs onto the inland sea with private access from the site to the footpaths, this is a very popular area for fishing and wind surfing
Fantastic site, made to feel extremely welcome.
