Me and my Nephew stayed here, whilst walking the Anglesey Coastal Path.
We got a very warm welcome from the lady owner Olwen Williams. This Is a lovely run Family Site, very spacious with lovely scenery. The CC field Is well lawned and looked after with a slope in parts Very clean showers and toilet block. Access through a gate takes you onto a pathway to the Inland Sea, with a fantastic view allround. Near to shops and Valley and minutes to the retail park at Holyhead. The site Is Ideally situated for touring. Very reasonable price's.
I would highly recommend

Just got back from a night at four mile bridge, site has toilets is very clean but no showers, its basic but reflected in the price.
We found the owner very friendly and had a lovely stay, would definitely stay again.
Camping field sloping in parts however there are a few level pitches, EHU available as well.E
This is a really good touring spot, the Anchorage inn is a 15 min walk and the gegin fach café 10 mins away

Stayed here for quick break. Really nice site great for kids as they can have the freedom but can see them wherever they are.
The stay was spoilt by a really noisy same sex group staying in 2 tents. Noise went on til late and started early every morning - they were louder than the planes!
The air force practising in the area was great to watch - especially the low flying helicopters in the bay.
The facilities are immaculate but totally inadequate for the size of the site. 2 extra small toilets and 1 shower not suitable for the amount of people using the site. The showers are quite expensive, you have to leave the cubicle to add more money and there is nowhere to leave your clothes.
Within walking distance to Valley which has pubs, spar and costcutter. Few takeaways but havent used them.
All in all a pleasant site, as stated great for kids and watersports. Just hope money is soon spent on increasing the facilities.

1970-95 Great site for all the family near the inland sea which is great for wind surfing. Canoeing and walking spent lots of happy holidays at Pen Y Bont.
