May 2004 We stayed at this site the weekend just gone and had a fantastic time. If you are looking to get away from it all then I would definitely recommend. However bear in mind that it is very rural and secluded. Flat well drainned land. The site is by the river Ettrick and fishing permits are available on site (£4 a day - and there were fish in it - husband caught one!) Factilities were very clean and water always hot for a shower. Nice childrens playpark, small shop where you can order papers and buy essentials. Very friendly warden who would always stop for a chat. We had superb weather, didn't venture far and feel like we were away for a fortnight not two nights - its that kind of site where you are forced to relax.
