Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities need updating but were clean. If you are in a tent, the main downside to this site is the considerable road noise.
The heavy traffic thunders down the A96 all hours of the day and night and some of the pitches are very close to the road. Unfortunately the pitch we had also became water logged but other pitches fared better during the heavy rain.
Culloden and Clava Cairns well worth a visit. Dolphin spotting at Channonry Point well worth a visit (but you will need patience). Also worth a visit is the Dolphin centre just over the bridge from Inverness.

Returned here for a second year. Love the the area. If visiting please try the farm shops and the butchers bakers etc in the local area, otherwise they may not survive the large supermarkets that seem to be everywhere.
The site is very clean and tidy a credit to the friendly helpful wardens. The toilet area is spotless but could do with a couple more showers at busy times

Just returned from a 4 night stopover which was part of our 2week Scottish trip.
At first we thought the main road would be noisy, but we didn't notice it after a while. The site managers were extremely friendly & helpful.
The dog walking area is obviously the best we've seen yet, as it covers the neighbouring woodland.
The facilities were always clean if a little dated.
Whilst we were there a man from the C&C club complete with clipboard was inspecting everything, so perhaps they are next in line for the refurbishment program.
A really good base the touring the area.
Watching the dolphins at Chanary point has to be a highlight.

Really loved this site (one to do again), clean and tidy toilets, pleasant wardens and great location.
Supermarkets close by (Nairn or Inverness).
Nice beaches close by (recommend the walk over the road to the end of the golf course, beach totally deserted).
Dolphin spotting from the beach over at Chanany point.
Road close by but was never a problem

Great Site, settled within woods, near main road but unless your camping nearest the road, you might hear some traffic. Pitches were great, no gravel just bark and pine cones (if camping might need to clear ground a bit) and most of it look to absorb any rainfall reasonably quickly. Laundry facilities were adequate, Shop at reception mostly accessories not really food stocked - there is a retail park on the right on way to Inverness. Children park contained swings and couple of small other things for 3-5 yrs old and swingball. Toilet's, which I seem to think are badly organised in Camping and Caravaning Site's, one toilet block which are usually closed between 10:00 and 13:00 1-2 hours depending which sites and there are no alternatives but toilets were clean. Forres is a nice place (been many times before) and Elgin has a Bowling 2000 with children play section. All in all good site closed in between the trees and very friendly, not much used for portable satellite if you are among the trees.

A wonderful place to stay in a nice landscape. Very safe for a tent when there are gales. Inverness by bus is just 20 minutes away and a lot of other interesting things (Nairn beach, Cawdor castle, Culloden moor.) are near by. A very friendly staff and the facilities are clean and tidy (but please leave just one toilet open during cleaning time :-)
We stayed there for six days and definitely come back!

Although when we arrived this site didn't look like it was for us, too near the road, the helpful wardens made us feel welcome. It was busy but always clean and tidy. Local shops and beaches recommend by the staff were excellent. We stayed an extra 3 days and will be back.

Stayed here three times before. We hadn't booked and only telephoned during the morning of our visit. The warden said she would phone me back and let me know if there would be room for us, she did and I think we got the last space. It was near the very noisy main road but this did not bother us and it did not keep us awake. Good walking facilities for our dogs, we will be back!

This was our second visit to this site we didn't enjoy our first visit so returned to see if we would like it more in a campervan than we did in a tent. But unfortunately we didn't. This was entirely personal as everyone else seemed very happy it was just too packed for us as we prefer quieter sites.
I would say though they have the cleanest laundry room/loo's/ showers etc we have seen and a very good games room indoors for when the weather is inclement.
Staff were helpful and very nice.
So for anyone not seeking peace it is most likely a fantastic site.

Stayed here for four nights in August. When we arrived the reception was closed, but wardens had noticed us from their pitch and were across to greet us before we had a chance to get out of the car.
The site is set in Delnies Wood and as such some pitches can be dark and shady, there are no hardstandings either. We found the road noise quite loud. Although it didn't seem to bother the children through the night.
Showerblock although kept clean and tidy by the wardens is looking old and tired. Showers hot and not the
