We stayed at this site for 5 nights and would of stayed longer but had to pick the dogs up from the kennels. The weather was awful the whole time but it was the best holiday we have ever had. The toilet block was lovely with big free showers that had plenty of space for changing and drying. The washing up area was good, unfortunately the washing machine wasn't working the week we stayed.
This is a quiet rural site but within a 5 min drive to a huge morrisons and another 5 to paignton. Would definitely recommend this park. The only downside is for people with caravans, the road leading to the site is fairly narrow and even though I only had a trailer my heart was in my mouth.

What a hidden gem of a site - it is so much better than its website would have you believe!
Stayed in a group of 2 tents & a motorhome in mid August. And despite being one of hte busiest times of the year, it didn't feel crowded and the facilities were absolutely fine for the number of people there.
Well laid out site - very relaxed (unlike some very regimented sites with very specific pitches) - plenty of room for tent, car & shared area between our tents.
There are several large fields partitioned by high hedges to give a feeling of a smaller site.
Small shop for absolute basics - bot don't rely on it for your shopping!
Fantastic main shower & toilet block - always clean and never had to queue. And even when these were being cleaned, there's an older block 50m away you can still use and this is still keep in reasonable condition and was always clean.
Also a great disabled toilet & shower unit with baby changing table too - something of a rarity and much appreciated by us!
Indoor washing up / clothes washing area too.
Although no specific kids play area, there was plenty of safe room for kids to run around.
The only (very minor) criticism I would have is that they could do with some lower sinks for kids to use and maybe a barrier on the main entrance just to increase safety.
Brilliant location for easy access to loads of activities for kids of all ages - we filled a week easily & would have loved to stay longer.
Recommend a visit to Stoke Gabriel for the crabbing and a walk round the lovely village - good pubs, one of which caters well for kids. Lots of lovely beaches, water park, steam train & not too far to Woodlands Theme Park - a very full day out for the under 10's.
Staff on site were friendly & helpful - we will definitely be going back if we spend time in this neck of the woods again.

Visited Broadleigh for a week - mixed weather but had a great time thanks to this great site and facilities. Good mix of tents and caravans with lots and lots of space for each pitch.
Good clean facilities and never had to wait once for the showers which were located in a good modern log style building.
Staff were helpful, informative and kept a good eye on the site throughout our visit. We requested a flat pitch with EHU and got exactly that. One night it was so quiet on site we actually spotted an owl sitting on one of the site's fences. If you want to get back to nature this place really delivers.
The site is down a typical Devon country lane but once you get used to using the vehicle passing bays access to the site wasn't a problem.
No shop on site but not a real problem with Morrisons only 10 minutes drive away at Paignton Zoo. This site is really well located for visiting local Torquay and surrounding area attractions.
I had real reservations about posting a review for this site as it really is one of the best sites we've ever been to and would be concerned that the quiet feel to the place would be lost if too many visitors start arriving. Definitely would recommend this site for those that want a quiet location with good clean facilities.
One of the best camping trips I've ever had and would definitely have a return trip at some point. Broadleigh seems to attract a certain experienced type of camper - no noisy, rude neighbours - hope it stays this way.
We stayed at Whitehill down the road the year before which is also a reasonable site but really not in the same league as this first class site. Couldn't have really asked for more.

Great site wih great facilities. The showers were the best we've seen for a long time and the owners were really friendly and welcoming. The site did have a slope in parts but was mostly flat. One criticism was that it was quite open and lacked natural privacy. Short walk into the village with nice pubs. Worth re-visit!

Very quiet site with views over the countryside. No shop or playground on site but plenty of space for kids to run around. Shower block spotlessly clean with free, warm showers but very poorly lit. Not lit at night at all so take your own portaloo.Only two washing up sinks for whole site so it definitely feels geared towards caravans rather than tents.

We have just returned from a week at Broadleigh farm and although it was Autumn it was a very enjoyable stay.
The toilet facilities are very modern and kept to a high standard at all times, although a bit off putting at the lights being switched off at 11pm each night.
The campsite itself is quite sloping but has plenty of electric hook ups and drains well after rain. Plenty of space is allocated for pitches with good open views of rolling hills.
Broadleigh is within 2 miles of Paignton and 5 miles of Torquay and Dartmouth via a small ferry, this makes it an ideal location for seeing the sights of the English riviera, a deffinate thumbs up for us.

Just returned from a UKCS meet for 9 days at this site.
The toilet/shower block is newly built, and well thought out, plenty of room in the showers, although the lights do get turned off at 11.00pm, so take a torch with you LOL also has a nice indoor dish washing and laundry room
Great location close to Paignton, Stoke Gabriel has two small shops, and a couple of pubs.
Only thing I would like to see at this site would be a better childrens play area, other than that were very happy, and will return again.

Really nice site, we stayed in the rally field that had loads of space but on a slight slope, loads of doggie walking fields and loads of hook ups around the field, the toilet block was clean and new but was a bit dark, when the lights did go on in the evening they went off again at eleven, lovely roomy showers could have benefited from a bit of heating. As it was rather cold. The fresh water was in easy reach and they sold fresh eggs in the reception. Would love to go again its a really nice clean site.

Just returned from this lovely site, down in the Devon Hills, the facilities at this site are just out of this world, lovely and clean, fresh and inviting, the toilet and shower block are a credit to the campsite, with free showers on a timer so you just keep hitting the button and stay in as long as you like, all they ask is that you mop the floor after use, what more can you ask for.
Reception is stocked with lots of brochures about surrounding activities and attractions.
The Park itself is lovely and clean, with three fields, which all have electric hook up, and are divided by hedges, huge amounts of room for the kids to play without getting in any ones way, they are dog friendly so you can take mans best friend with you, just have to be aware that there are Geese on the Farm, and they ask that you keep the dog on the lead around the Geese.
Also you your never very far from a fresh water point or elsan point.
The site is about 3 miles from the nearest large town, where we found major super markets, and a fab Cider Farm just round the corner from the site, which sells traditional cider at about £7.00 for 4 litres.
All in all a superb family site, not much for the kids on a dull wet day, but when its dry you wont see them.
We will be returning to this site.

Stayed here bank holiday week. Had tried to book Little Cotton and Deer Park on the other side of Dartmouth but they were full - what a stroke of luck ! Having visited the other two, this site is much quieter, has better toliet block and showers which are spotless (I always think if they take the trouble to provide mops and cloths to mop up, people will always oblige) and costs much less. The owners didnt even want a booking confirmation. We were in the adjoining field which we practically had to ourselves. Plenty of room for two young kids to roam. We prefer quiet, natural sites to ones with all ammenities, so this was perfect and very handy for touring the area. Stoke Gabriel is about 1 mile away and is a lovely unspoilt village with 2 pubs and a jetty on the Dart where the kids can go crab fishing. There is a cafe adjoining which does BBQ on selected nights and serves booze too ! A great place to while away the remains of the day ! Broadleigh Farm is highly recommended for those wanting a quiet, reasonably priced site.
