What a wonderful place, seems to be out in the sticks but it isnt. It is so quiet and peaceful. My daughter and her friend enjoyed the swings - shame there isnt more of a play area. Showers were wonderful, warm and clean. Electric hook ups available on both fields. Garage behind our field was a bit noisy early in the morning but dont let that put you off. Geese were a charming attraction. We would definitely go again, minutes from Paignton and minutes from Brixham. Plenty to do in both towns. Reception open most of the time selling wonderful ice creams enjoyed by the girls daily !Also displaying plenty of leaflets and local information. Plenty of space to play football, swingball etc Lovely place to be, nice and clean - all you could want from a camp site. (I heard rumours of another shower block being built which would be ideal as queues early in the morning and early evening can be a bit off putting!) DEFINITLY WORTH A VISIT !

We stayed Witsun week Tuesday to Saturday with our 3 boys. The site was clean, the toilet block was excellent. Showers were spacious and hot. Site was quiet (no bar or pool) as it was only 2 miles from Paignton, 2 supermarkets within this distance. Everywhere very accessible. Mr & Mrs Hunt were very helpful with any of your needs. Very rarely do we return to campsites because we like to explore different places, but we shall be doing so here.

What a delight tucked away in the countryside. good size pitches with loads of space in between. Showers to die for, enough space for a rugby team in each one! We were in the main field with the geese! great the kids said. They came out in the morning and went to bed at night. great site. Not for those who want all mod cons. But plenty available and indoor washing up! how civilised! Will definitely go back.

The best value for money site we have ever stayed on. We were on the CL which occupies a field alongside the farmhouse. It was well sheltered and the grass was nice and short. There are five adults in our household who regularly go caravanning together and we have found that CLs and CSs with showers work out cheap for two people but invariably owners charge £3 each for extra adults. We don’t mind paying £1 but this site only cost us £10.50 with everything included. In the field next door was the shower block (about 2 years old) which was absolutely fantastic. These amenities were for the 30 van site but Caravan Club members were able to use all the facilities provided for the main site. It was so spacious and there were vases of fresh flowers by the wash basins. We were right in the countryside but only about two miles from Morrisons supermarket. A small number of items were on sale in the reception adjoining the showers. While we were there a questionnaire was sent round asking whether campers would like to see a shop on site. We felt that it would not be worthwhile because of the site’s close proximity to many different supermarkets. Would certainly go back and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit that part of Devon.

Visited this site for our main holiday last year, so as we go away with my in-laws I needed to make a block booking, which caused no problems at all. As we were not members of the caravan and camping club, we were on an additional field. This was fine as there was plenty of room for the children (big and small) to play, although the toilets were a bit of a walk. There was a new toilet block which was very clean and free showers. There was usually a queue for showers during the busy times of the day but to some extent due to the weeks we go away this has to be expected. One thing I did like was that the old toilet block was still in use which meant that when the new one was closed for cleaning there were still available facilities which is a bonus when you are away with children. All in all a pleasant 2 weeks.
