Visited this site for the first time this weekend.
Excellent throughout. The pitches were level and spread out. The toilet block was always clean and warm - great in the night when a bit chilly.
Excellent location for Chapel St Leonards and easy walk to Fantasy Island along the promenade.
Site was far enough outside of Chapel to be a quiet site but still only 5 minutes walk away from the hustle and bustle.
All round good site and one to visit again.

A wonderful family run site just on the edge of Chapel st leonards and is in a geat location for a quiet site, but is only 2 mins from shops, pubs etc and a short 10 min walk to the beach.
The site is owned, run and maintained by Ivan (I'm sure he sleeps in his red overalls) and louise whom are very friendly and can't help you enough.
The shower and toilet block is kept spotless and this was over a busy bank holiday!
The washroom looks almost finished and all have a security card to enter(£5 deposit req on arrival).
The site as previously mentioned is a mix of hard standing and well maintained large grass pitches and is due to be expanded in the future to be full service pitches.
For an extra £5 you can stay on after 11.30 until the the late afternoon as long as your pitch is not booked out.
Overall a great site I would recommend and will be returning to again!

Great site with very friendly and helpful staff.
We booked for 8 nights running up to the bank holiday. Pitches are a good size & situated in bays of about 4 pitches surrounded by hedges for privacy. The toilet block is excellent. You need a key card to get in which stops non-residents using them. There are only 2 showers so may get busy if site is full but were always hot whilst we were there. Toilet block also has underfloor heating. What luxury! There is no childrens play area but with all the facilities of Chapel so close to hand it wasn't missed.
Unfortunately the weather was terrible & after 5 days of non-stop rain & gale force winds we decided to leave. The owners were very understanding and were surprised we had stayed so long (many had given up before us). They kindly offered to keep our remaining 3 nights open for us to use anytime in future. We were expecting to lose the money we had paid for the rest of our booking so it was a very nice surprise. Hopefully our next visit will be blessed with better weather.

Visited campsite after trying to find a campsite in this area that accept tents as it seems to cater for caravans primarily. The site was very clean and well ordered, the toilets and showers were really well heated, some of the best I have seen (I've been camping for many years. The only flaw for us as a family with small children was that it did not seem invite or promote children to play, however reading other reviews this does not seem to be an issue. The fob is a good idea however again with children not always practical. Overall a very good site.

Only stayed for 1 night but wish it could have been longer. Immaculate site with good facilities. No washing up point as yet, but this in the process of being built. Very friendly reception awaited us. Very clean, especially the toilets and showers. Only two showers for men and same for women though, so maybe in the summer holidays it may get a bit hectic trying to get ready for the day ahead? Will definitely be returning. This was my 7 month old sons first camping trip and we really enjoyed every minute of it. Its a beautiful part of the world and the site is perfectly situated.

Got in at this site at last minute on May day bank holiday weekend. Staff very helpful, we were escorted to our pitch and offered advice on how to put our awning up (our first time away). Some hard standing, all with electric hook up. Toilet block had 4 toilets (I think) and 2 showers. Same for the men. Showers good temperature, plenty of room. Cut out after few minutes, have to keep pressing the button. Very clean & tidy. I used the showers around 7.30 ish I was the only one in there. But do tend to get busy around 10 ish. This is a nice peaceful site, no club, no playground, but in walking distance to the local shops, arcades and beach. This was our first time away in our caravan and we enjoyed it very much.

Friendly family run site. Mixture of all grass & hard standing pitches all with electric some with water. Security barriers both on entry and exit using a proximity card that also opens shower block (£5 refundable deposit required) and security cameras operated from reception to keep an eye on things as well as find you a vacant pitch! In their 3rd season now, the ambient planting that separates the spacious pitches is still maturing and even though the shower block is awaiting painting of the lobby area it is kept extremely clean. Plenty of hot water and no extra charges for showers or hairdryer. The only thing missing is a pot wash area but this is being built as we speak and will also offer laundry facilities. There's no shop or bar on the site but there isn't really any need as the site is only a short walk from the village and many of the neighbouring static sites offer these facilities to people not staying on their sites. Definatly recommend this site to others.

We stayed Aug Bank Holiday and it was great. Would recommend to all! Site was clean tidy and plenty of space. Security gates made it safe and it was within walking distance of Chapel Centre.
Family run site and they were very friendly and helpful.

Relatively new site, on Trunch Lane next to Kings Chalet Park. Fishing lake across the road for the anglers. Brand new toilet block, entrance by swipe card (refundable deposit payable - can't remember if £5.00 or £10.00). Could do with more toilets and showers but the facilities were spot on very clean and warm.
Pitches excellent, nice and flat and quite spacious. The owners were friendly and efficient. Five minute walk into Chapel St. Leonards. Nice site and would visit again without hesitation.

Booked on this site for first week of childrens 6 week holidays as was unable to get in anywhere else. It is a relatively new site (opened last year I think) and is on Trunch Lane just below the Kings Oak caravan/chalet Park. Considering it's not been open long it is well landscaped, nice flat even grass pitches all with electric hook-up facility even for the tents, infact there are no pitches without hook-up so you would pay for it even if you didn't use it.
The toilet and shower block is brand new and it is as advertised, heated, it was very nice going in for shower and not shivering once you got out. There is also a free hairdryer. One small gripe, although there are plenty of toilets there are only 2 showers (2 in the ladies and 2 in the gents) which could cause a problem if the site was full to capacity. Don't be put off though as they are roomy, water was at just the right temperature , they shut off automatically every few minutes which should discourage people from hogging them and they are free.
There is no shop or bar on site but it is such a short walk to whats available in Chapel St Leonards it wasn't a problem at all. There is a fishing lake across the road for anglers.
Entry and exit to the site is controlled with a swipe card which is also used to gain access to the toilet block. This is issued on arrival upon payment of a £5.00 deposit. The site owners were very friendly and helpful and we will definitely visit again.
